50 Years For Texas Man Guilty Of “Continuous” Sex Abuse of 5 Year Old

Sentenced, sexual abuse of a child, William Anderson

ELLIS COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) – A jury found a North Texas man guilty of the “continuous” sexual abuse of a 5-year-old girl.

Jurors in Ellis County only deliberated for about an hour before finding William Kyle Anderson guilty.

Testimony detailed how in 2012 Anderson began forcing the young girl to engage in different sexual acts.  The girl, who is now 8-years-old, took the stand and testified about the abuse. Under oath she recounted how during one of the sex acts Anderson, 37, showed her a pornographic video of adults engaged in sexual acts.

In a press release statement Ellis Assistant County and District Attorney Ann Montgomery said, “It was clear to all in the courtroom that she was embarrassed as she recounted the details of the abuse.”

Ennis police department investigators found images of child pornography and child erotica on Anderson’s computer.

The jury sentenced Anderson, of Ennis, to 50 years in prison. Given that there is no chance for parole with his sentence, Anderson won’t be released from prison until he is 87.

Good job, jury. You are my heroes today. God bless you.
