Palestinian terrorist reveals horrific details
of rape, killing of Jewish teen
Arafat Irfaiya (Yonatan Sindel/Flash90)
The Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court has extended until Thursday the arrest of Arafat Irfaiya, the 29-year-old Hebron resident suspected of murdering teenager Ori Ansbacher in the Ein Yael area outside Jerusalem in February.
The Jerusalem District Attorney’s Office issued a statement saying that it intended to file an indictment against Irfaiya by Thursday.
Irfaiya told investigators that he did not plan much of the attack in advance aside from purchasing a skullcap so he could slip into Israel undetected, Channel 12 news reported Saturday.
“I bought the yarmulke two weeks earlier, so I could enter Israel without being suspected or identified as an illegal resident,” Irfaiya reportedly told investigators, adding that he did not tell anyone else of his plans in advance.
“I left my home to kill a Jew due to the occupation and treatment of Arabs at checkpoints,” he reportedly said.
According to the report, Irfaiya told investigators he met Ansbacher, 19, by chance in a forested area close to Jerusalem where she was sitting on a rock, writing in a notebook.
Irfaiya reportedly said he stabbed Ansbacher three times and dragged her as she tried to resist. He then stabbed her further, before gagging her with her scarf and binding her hands.
Additional details regarding the investigation remain under a gag order.
The suspect said that after the attack, he took Ansbacher’s cellphone and destroyed the memory card.
At that point, Arafiah took a taxi, which eventually took him to the Ramallah-area. Nothing about his escape route was planned, he said. After he hid the knife, which was later found among bags of cement near the mosque in which he was hiding, he was found by Israeli counter-terror officers.
Last month, the Shin Bet security service announced that the murder was a terror attack, saying Irfaiya re-enacted the murder of Ansbacher in front of interrogators and “implicated himself definitively in the incident.”
The suspect reportedly told interrogators that he entered Israel and looked for a Jewish victim because he wanted to be a martyr.
“I entered Israel with a knife because I wanted to become a martyr and murder a Jew,” he reportedly said. “I met the girl by chance.”
Channel 13 news reported that Irfaiya was arrested in 2017 at the entrance to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem armed with a large kitchen knife, and had indicated that if released, he would “come back here with a knife.”
Fool! Thinks he has earned his way into paradise. John 16:2b: "the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God."
Essex man speaks out over child sexual abuse
One Survivor's Encouraging Story
A young man from Essex is speaking out about how he has overcome horrific childhood sexual abuse, in the hope he can encourage more people to seek help.
Rhys Dickinson from Hadleigh, who is now studying law at the University of Lincoln, was raped when he was just six.
Now 22, he has waived his right to anonymity to tackle the taboo around male rape, and encourage other victims to seek help and reclaim their lives.
Rhys was only six years old when he was abused for the first time.
"Petrified and scared for my life, I felt ashamed, I felt dirty," he said. "I was literally just frozen still and I just cried and cried - even afterwards I just cried."
The attacks continued for five years until, aged just 11, Rhys found the courage to tell his Mum what had been happening.
His family were moved into witness protection and his abuser was sent to jail. But the experience left a deep scar.
Rhys said: "I was scared to leave the house. I never wanted to trust people, I found it hard to make friends, I was always angry. I had a lot of aggression built up."
Rhys has told friends at university what happened to him.
Now, after years of counselling Rhys is learning to deal with his past.
For first time he's told his friends on the university's running team what happened to him.
Scott Peers, Rhys' friend, said: "I was both shocked and proud because it's something you should never have to go through, and to come out and be so brave and bold about it, it's just amazing."
Samantha Lucas, Rhys' friend, said: "So proud that he's managed to come out and talk about it and I think a lot of young men should feel the same confidence from Rhys. I really think it's something that needs to be spoken about more."
And by speaking out, Rhys hopes others will seek the help they need.
"It's hard to come to terms with it," said Rhys. "But speaking out and telling people is probably the best thing I've ever done. It's given me courage, it's given me strength. I don't know where I'd be without it."
Now 16 years after his own abuse, he hopes his story will help other young people around the country.
Rhys is speaking out about his experience to help other men who have been abused.

German national in Uganda being 'hunted by police for sexually abusing CSA victims in his care'

Police are reportedly hunting for a 70-year-old German national in Uganda who is facing fresh allegations of child sex tourism.
Bernhard Bery Glaser’s home – set up as a rehabilitation centre – says it houses children who are survivors of sexual violence and at risk of child abuse.
“We care for girls who have been used, abused, eventually discarded, without hope, without options, often without access to a worthwhile life,” the centre explains on its website.
Located in Mwena Village on Bugala Island, it says it houses children between the ages of three and 22.
A detective, who chose to remain anonymous, told Ugandan English language newspaper New Vision they had collected several recorded sex tapes, sex tools and erotic material.
A girl who alleges she is a victim of sexual abuse told detectives Mr Glaser would seduce them to have sex there and also pledged to help their education.
She claimed those who rebuffed his sexual advances would be thrown out of the house.
Mr Glaser, it is alleged, would invite his colleagues from different countries to have sex with the girls while they filmed it.
Authorities are believed to have raided Mr Glaser’s home on Sunday, but he was out at the time.
At least 15 children – aged between five and 20 – were found in the house during the raid and have also been taken in for questioning.
His wife Ingrid Hehns was arrested for questioning.
Detectives at Kalanga Police Station, in central Uganda, suspect that someone had told him to flee his centre.
Community members have long vented their frustrations about the actions of Mr Glaser – triggering a whistleblower to log a complaint.
The Kalanga district probation officer, Willy Nkumbi, claimed Mr Glaser’s organisation had been running illegally without a registration certificate.
In December 2013, Mr Glaser was arrested and arraigned in High Court in Masaka over similar allegations, but was acquitted because of a lack of evidence.
Naitore Nayamu, of Equality Now, a non-government organisation which aims to promote the rights of women and girls, said: “People managing homes and shelters have a duty of care for the children residing there.
“If the charges in this case are true, it is extremely unfortunate that vulnerable girls have experienced sexual abuse in a place that ought to have been a safe space and where they had sought protection.”
Paedophiles have no compassion whatsoever for victims of child sex abuse. They are incapable of compassion. They see only opportunity to revictimize the victims. Paedophiles are entirely narcissistic.
The human rights lawyer called for the government of Uganda to make sure anyone operating shelters or safe spaces for children is carefully and thoroughly vetted.
“Authorities must also conduct regular checks in these homes to ensure that they are being run properly,” she said. “Additionally there ought to be stiffer penalties for perpetrators of sexual abuse as this will work as a deterrent to would be perpetrators. Equality Now calls upon the Ugandan police to fast-track the investigations and ensure all culprits are brought to book.”
Ms Nayamu said children who have experienced abuse should be given legal representation in the course of trial.
These girls require protection, she said, as there might be efforts to influence their testimonies and interfere with the evidence.
Ms Nayamu, who advocates for the rights for women and girls, urged the government to carry out an inquiry into all the other shelters and rescue homes that operate in Uganda to ensure none of these rescue centres are being used for purposes of abusing children.
“It is upon the state to protect all girls and boys from sex predators,” she added.
Strasbourg man charged for streaming
Philippines child rape videos
(Agence France-Presse)
STRASBOURG, France — A man has been charged with ordering videos of rapes and sexual assaults, some of them on children, broadcast live from the Philippines, a French prosecutor said on Saturday.
The suspect, a 55-year-old former police officer according to L'Est Republicain newspaper, was being held for conspiracy to commit rape and sexual assault on someone under 15 years of age, Francois Perain, prosecutor in the eastern city of Nancy, told AFP.
French officials were tipped off by the investigators at the US Department of Homeland Security of the activities of a French national between 2017 and 2018, said Perain.
They had picked up the trail after equipment seized in a raid on a suspect in the Philippines yielded evidence of the live-streamed sexual assaults.
The system involved broadcasting the assaults live and charging people to view them and the victims, some of whom were children, said the prosecutor.
Using online chatrooms, clients placed orders specifying the profile of the victim and how they wanted them to be assaulted, and paid $15-60.
Although some videos are broadcast pre-recorded, others are broadcast live so the person who ordered it can influence what happens in real time, said Perain.
The suspect admitted to investigators that he had paid for such videos but said very few of them had involved minors, the prosecutor added.
23-year-old Swede jailed for online sex abuse
of 62 young girls - 5th conviction
The Local
The Borås District Court on Wednesday sentenced a 23-year-old man to six years in prison for preying on young girls online.
According to the court, the Borås man contacted young girls via social media apps Snapchat, Skype and Yubo, an app formerly known as Yellow that has been called "Tinder for teens".
The man would contact young girls through the apps under the guise of a boy closer to their age. He would then convince them to "participate in conversations of a sexual nature and exploit the plaintiffs, in some cases through threats, to perform sexually by sending him photos or videos of a sexual nature," according to the court’s judgement.
The 23-year-old was found guilty on a number of counts, including one charge of rape for an incident in which he convinced a young girl to do a live video stream of herself masturbating with a foreign object.
Additionally, he was found guilty of gross sexual abuse of children, the production and possession of child pornography and paying a minor for sexual services.
The 63 plaintiffs in the case were girls between the ages of ten and sixteen.
"In one case he was not convicted because the girl was over 15 years old (the legal age of sexual consent in Sweden). In those cases, it takes more for a conviction. But we have believed the stories of all of the plaintiffs," District Court Judge Marie Sobilius told news agency TT.
Sobilius said that on two occasions the man met his online targets in real life. One of those meetings led to a charge of sexual harassment while the other led to the sex purchase charge.
"He offered the girl money for sexual services," she said.
The 23-year-old man has been found guilty on similar charges four previous times. He has undergone a psychiatric examination but it did not affect his sentence.
The offences occurred during between 2015 and 2017.
Sounds like he needs to be separated from the internet permanently. 6 years is not nearly enough for a prolific paedophile. He will be out in a few years and he will be sexually exploiting children again.
Norwegian jailed for ordering online
child sex abuse in Philippines
AFP
Sore Sunnmore Dist Court
A 71-year-old Norwegian man was sentenced to 12.5 years in prison on Monday for ordering sexual assaults to be carried out online against dozens of young Filipinas.
"With his actions, the accused contributed to a sex industry that brutally exploits vulnerable children in the worst possible way," the Søre Sunnmøre district court in western Norway wrote in its verdict.
Between 2012 and 2013, the man used an online video calling service to contact people in the Philippines. He paid them to, under his instructions, sexually assault minors under the age of 14, the youngest one "probably between three and five years old", while he watched, the court found.
The court said there were "at least" 48 victims but the actual number could be much higher because of difficulties identifying them.
"The court finds that the victims are living in an almost inhumane situation that the accused helped perpetuate with his actions," the verdict said.
Norwegian police were alerted by the United States FBI as part of a larger case the latter was probing. Investigators found more than 36,000 photographs and videos containing child pornography in his possession.
"I went into a bubble and I was going through a very difficult time in my personal life," the accused told the court during his trial, according to broadcaster NRK.
So, did destroying the lives of dozens of innocent children improve your life? It sure didn't improve theirs. Did it burst your bubble? I can't wait to see you stand before God.
The sentence handed down was slightly higher than the 12 years the prosecution had called for.
The victims' young age was considered an aggravating factor for the sentencing.
Danish man rapes his drunken daughter
on his wedding night
By SARA MALM FOR MAILONLINE
A Danish man has been found guilty of raping his daughter on his own wedding night, after defending his actions by saying he thought she was his wife.
The incident took place at a country estate near Kolding, southern Denmark, in August last year, where the 50-year-old was holding his wedding reception.
The daughter, 20, had passed out drunk in the bridal suite, after which the bride and groom went to sleep in the same bed.
The father and daughter had been out of contact for several years, but had reconnected around Christmas time the previous year, and he had invited her to his August wedding.
The court heard that the 20-year-old had become 'very intoxicated' during the celebrations, and family members decided she would not be able to get to the nearby bed and breakfast where she was staying.
At 2.30am she was helped to the bridal suite by her father and another guest and put to bed. Some 90 minutes later, the father went to sleep next to his daughter, with his new wife on the other side.
The man claims to not remember anything that may have taken place after this, and denies all allegations of rape and sexual misconduct.
Court documents seen by JydskeVestkysten state that at some point between 4am and 4.45am, the man grabbed his daughter.
Raped: The victim says she shouted and hit her father, begging him to stop (file photo)
The report continued: 'When she asked him to stop and tried to sit up, he pushed her hard in the chest.
'After this, while she was on her back, he forced sexual intercourse despite her begging him to stop several times.'
Prosecutors told the court in Kolding the 20-year-old had been unable to defend herself due to intoxication.
In a text exchange between father and daughter the following days, he apologised to her - saying he had mistaken her for his wife.
'I think we should cease all contact,' the daughter wrote, according to Ekstrabladet.
'What you have subjected me to is something I cannot accept. I asked you nicely to stop and you continued. I shouted, you continued, I hit you, you continued.'
'I'm sorry,' the man replied. 'It was a mistake. I'm sorry. I thought it was [wife's name]. Can't we try to stay in touch? I'm sorry'.
The unnamed 50-year-old man has been found guilty of rape, and jailed for two years and six months.
Reports of Physical and Sexual Harassment of Minors
on the Rise in Greece
By Nick Kampouris
The Hellenic Society of Forensic Medicine and Piraeus Forensic Service presented the findings of a survey on Monday regarding the incidence of physical and sexual harassment in Greece.
According to the survey’s findings, there has been an increase in the number of cases involving physical and sexual harassment of minors recorded in Greece during the last several years.
In addition to that fact, increasing numbers of such cases are now being reported to authorities, as both parents and children are better informed and more aware of these issues now, as compared to in the past.
It is estimated that one in five children in Greece falls victim to some form of harassment, mostly at the hands of men aged thirty years or older. In 70 to 90 per cent of the cases, these men belong to the family’s inner circle.
According to Elias Bogiokas, the head of the Piraeus Forensic Service, ”in the past ten years, and especially during the years of the financial crisis, an increase in the number of cases of child abuse has been recorded in Greece.”
According to the findings of the survey, the vast majority of the incidents involve female minors, as four out of five victims were girls.
If you suspect a child is being harassed or abused, you can call 116111, which is the number for the European helpline for children. Greece’s national helpline for children, operated by the ”Smile of the Child” organization, may be reached at 1056.
The European helpline for children who have gone missing may be reached by calling 116000.
