UNICEF to Promote Abortion, LGBT Rights, and
Comprehensive Sexuality Education

NEW YORK, August 6 (C-Fam) The UN agency for children is asking for a mandate to promote abortion, contraception, and LGBT rights from UN member states.
The draft strategic plan of the UN agency for children, or UNICEF, includes the promotion of “sexual and reproductive health and rights,” a term widely recognized as including abortion and LGBT rights, as well as “comprehensive sexuality education.”
These controversial terms have been repeatedly rejected by UN member states and previous UNICEF strategic plans did not include them.
In addition to committing the agency to work on “sexual and reproductive health and rights,” the draft strategic plan lists “sexual and reproductive health” as a separate area of health from maternal health and HIV/AIDS. This signals that the agency specifically seeks a mandate for abortion and contraception.
The strategic plan also commits the agency to prioritize “comprehensive sexuality education,” a highly controversial form of sex education that teaches children to experiment with their sexuality, even teaching children as young as five to masturbate, and promotes social acceptance of homosexuality.
It was included in the draft strategic plan by UNICEF officials and staff even though the term has been rejected repeatedly by UN member states in the General Assembly and even at the World Health Assembly.
The strategic plan will be accompanied by a Gender Action Plan for the same period, which goes beyond proposing contraception and abortion for children. It expressly targets parental consent laws in countries around the world. It labels “restrictive age-of-consent policies that discourage adolescents from seeking sexual and reproductive health services” as the result of discriminatory “gender bias.” The Gender Action Plan also includes a focus on “sexual orientation and gender identity.”
It is not the first time UNICEF staff and officials have courted controversy by promoting abortion or LGBT issues. In 1996, the Holy See withdrew funding from the agency after the agency failed to reassure the Holy See that agency staff would not promote abortion. In recent years there has been a rapprochement between UNICEF and the Holy See even though doubts about the agency’s clash with Catholic teaching remain.
UNICEF is also embroiled in the middle of a scandal involving the promotion of pornography use for children. It published a report earlier this year inviting countries to consider ratings for pornography that would designate sexually explicit materials appropriate for children.
UNICEF is one of the first UN agencies, founded in 1946 to help address the dire needs of millions of orphans and refugees following the Second World War.
The strategic plan, which will guide the agency’s work for the next four years, will be debated next week by UNICEF’s executive board, which is made up of 36 countries selected from each regional group, and is scheduled to be adopted in September by the board. The agency’s budget is over $5 billion annually.
UNICEF’s strategic plan is just one of several strategic plans that UN agencies are finalizing this summer, including the strategic plans for the UN population fund and the UN agency for women include the controversial term “sexual and reproductive health and rights.”
Earlier this month, UNICEF head Henrietta Fore announced her resignation, prompting speculation that her replacement would be former U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues Catherine Russell, a longtime proponent of “sexual and reproductive health” services for children.

A court in Texas has ruled that a boy at the center of a custody battle will temporarily live with his mother, who wants to have him undergo a gender transition to look more like a girl, while the father, who opposes it, will only be allowed limited visitation.
For the past couple of years, Jeff Younger and his ex-wife, Anne Georgulas — a pediatrician in Coppell, Texas, and non-biological mother of James and his twin brother, Jude — have fought over who has custody over their son, James, whom Georgulas calls “Luna” and wants to see transitioned into a girl.
In a memorandum ruling issued Tuesday, Judge Mary Brown ruled against Younger, citing his purported “unwillingness or inability to follow the order designed to serve the best interests of the children.”
Maybe because it's not really in the best interest of the child? It's astonishing to me how judges make decisions that completely ignore science when it comes to gender.
The court gave Georgulas various “exclusive rights on a temporary basis,” including the right to establish the children's primary residence, the right to consent to various medical decisions, the right to determine their education, and a host of other privileges.
Brown did, however, stop short of giving Georgulas the exclusive right to have James undergo experimental trans procedures such as prescribing puberty blockers or hormonal suppression “without the consent of the parents or court order.”
In addition, the court required that “Younger's possession periods shall be continuously supervised by Forensic Counseling Services … at Mr. Younger's sole cost and expense.”
Perhaps Georgulas possession periods should be supervised.
The Facebook page “Save James” denounced the court order, saying in a statement Wednesday that it “ruled against the safety and protection of James and Jude.”
In October 2019, a Dallas jury ruled 11-1 to not give Younger sole conservatorship of his twin sons, opening to the possibility that James might undergo gender transition at the insistence of Georgulas.
Georgulas filed a court petition requiring Younger to accept James as “Luna,” with her claiming that James himself has affirmed a preference to identify as female.
“When James is with me, he shows no signs of wanting to be a girl when given the choice. Even when in female company, away from me, James rejects a female gender expression,” stated Younger in an entry on the “Save James” website.
During court proceedings, Younger has argued that his son prefers to identify as a boy and reportedly threw out a bunch of dresses that his mother had bought him.
The highly publicized custody battle prompted some Texas state lawmakers to sponsor a bill that would ban the medicalized gender-transitioning of children; however, the measure died when it failed to be scheduled for a vote in the House of Representatives.
So, it seems that gender dysphoria is not restricted to the victim, but might be infecting a parent, guardian, or pediatrician with regard to the victim.

Two Satan-worshippers have reportedly been detained by Russian cops after they confessed to committing grisly murders out in the remote woodlands of the country's Far North before apparently cutting up and even eating the corpses.
News site Mash splashed the gruesome details on Thursday, naming the occult-loving duo as Andrey Tregubenko and Olga Bolshakova, living in the capital, Moscow. They had apparently been initially called in for questioning by police on drugs charges, before making the gory admission that they were responsible for the deaths of two young people in the forests of Karelia, which borders Finland, Sweden and Norway.
The victims were said to have been lured out to the vast region by Tregubenko and Bolshakova, who then proceeded to dismember their bodies and eat them.
A missing-persons notification dating back to 2016 identifies the two dead people as Platon Stepanov and Viktoria Zaitseva, both aged 27 at the time they vanished.
According to Mash, while friends and relatives were searching for the murdered pair, Tregubenko and Bolshakova kept the whereabouts of the bodies a secret.
It would be interesting to know why they confessed after, apparently, having gotten away with it.
In 2010, Russian lawmakers moved to ban occult groups and supposed mystic healers from advertising their services. Parliamentarians were said to be concerned by the prevalence of commercials encouraging the public to seek unorthodox support for everything from unfaithful husbands to hexes and incurable illnesses.
The case has echoes of a legendary series of murders committed by Andrey Chikatilo, dubbed the 'Butcher of Rostov' after he was found to have killed and eaten more than fifty victims, mostly in the southern Russian city. He was responsible for one of the country's most long-running strings of sexual assaults between 1978-1990, and was only caught after a lengthy manhunt by Soviet police.

US govt-funded project ‘harvests’ organs from aborted babies
for medical research, documents show

The US funded a project that collects body parts from aborted babies – some of them apparently alive moments before their organs are harvested – new documents show, prompting claims that conspiracy theorists have been vindicated.
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded at least $2.7 million to a University of Pittsburgh program that sought to create a “tissue hub” sourced from aborted fetuses ranging from six to 42 weeks’ gestation. Forty-two weeks equates to more than 10 months of pregnancy.
Details about the program emerged after conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch and the Center for Medical Progress obtained 252 pages of documents as part of a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit brought against the HHS.
In its 2015 grant application to the HHS, the University of Pittsburgh explained that it had been “collecting fetal tissue for over 10 years… includ[ing] liver, heart, gonads, legs, brain, genitourinary tissues including kidneys, ureters and bladders.”
The institution requested government funds in order to help “develop a pipeline to the acquisition, quality control and distribution of human genitourinary [urinary and genital organs and functions] samples” taken from aborted fetuses. The project aimed to generate an “ongoing resource” that can be used to distribute “fresh” human samples from “various stages (six-42 weeks).” Commenting on its operational abilities in 2015, the university said that it had “disbursed over 300 fresh samples collected from 77 cases. The collections can be significantly ramped up as material could have been accrued from as many as 725 cases last year.”
Its plan to “harvest and distribute quality tissue and cells” also included racial quotas: The university’s application said that it wanted 50% of its aborted “subjects” to be minority fetuses. However, as the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) noted, Allegheny County, the region from which the university sources fetuses for harvesting, is 80% white and only 13% black.
The university argued that it was an ideal candidate to provide human tissue to US government researchers because the institution “takes steps” to “ensure the highest quality biological specimens.” Specifically, the grant application said that warm ischemic time – the amount of time an organ or body part remains at room temperature after its blood supply has been reduced or cut, before being cooled or reconnected to a blood supply – is “kept at a minimum.” Elsewhere in the documents, the university explained that it uses “labor induction” as a “procedure that will be used to obtain the tissue.”
In a press release discussing the tranche of documents, the CMP noted that “if the fetus’ heartbeat and blood circulation continue in a labor induction abortion for harvesting organs, it means the fetus is being delivered while still alive and the cause of death is the removal of the organs.”
Both the university and the National Institutes of Health, which is part of the HHS, have previously claimed that they follow all relevant laws regarding fetal-tissue research.
The new revelations led some to argue that claims about ethically questionable medical research can no longer be dismissed as baseless conspiracy theories.
