Islamic Republic of Iran: Sharia police beat
little girl for wearing a short-sleeved t-shirt
Non-Muslim women in Britain, France, and Germany will need a certain period of adjustment. But they’ll learn, just as Iranian women did after 1979.
Iranian Police Assault Girl for Hijab Non-Compliance
Iran International, May 12, 2024:
A video surfaced from Boroujerd, western Iran, depicting hijab enforcement police violently assaulting a young girl in Fadak Park for wearing a short-sleeved t-shirt.
The footage, obtained by Iran International, shows the police’s harsh enforcement of mandatory hijab. According to an eyewitness, bystanders eventually intervened and rescued the girl. It is unclear how old the child is, but in Iran girls start to wear hijab as young as six or seven years old.
The incident is part of a pattern of aggression associated with hijab enforcement in Iran even against children. Just last year, another young girl was recorded being struck in the face for not wearing a hijab. The video showed her bleeding from the nose, sitting by the roadside in distress….
India: Muslim murders his 18-y/o daughter
by slicing her neck for having a boyfriend
The victim, Suhana, clearly angered Mohammad Shahid so much by having a boyfriend rather than, presumably, simply submitting to an arranged marriage, that it made him believe that she had transgressed this Qur’anic dictate: “And it is not fitting for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and his messenger have settled a matter, that they should claim any say in the matter, and whoever is rebellious to Allah and his messenger, he indeed goes astray in obvious error.” (Qur’an 33:36) And so he could treat her like an unbeliever: “When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks…” (Qur’an 47:4)
At least keep the honour of my beard: Mohammad Shahid kills his 18-year-old daughter by slicing her throat for having an affair
OpIndia, May 17, 2024:
On 16th May a 55-year-old man named Mohammad Shahid killed his 18-year-old daughter Suhana in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh by slicing her neck, in a horrific episode of honour killing. He had fled the scene following the murder but returned when the police arrived there and surrendered compliantly before them. He admitted to the crime and the video of his confession has also been going viral on social media.
According to media reports, the offender is a resident of Kukra village in the New Mandi Police Station area. The family members were shocked to see the victim’s body lying on the floor. She was brutally murdered. The police sent the body for a post-mortem after conducting an inquiry. Cops reached the spot and were interrogating the family when the perpetrator came there and turned himself in. He declared, “No one played any role in the murder. Only I did it. I repeatedly tried to make her understand that she should not at least violate the family’s honour. I have kept a beard (Islam and Prophet Muhammad directed Muslims to grow their beards and trim their moustaches, to differ from the non-believers) and requested her to maintain its respect.”
He added, “I told her that you will get married one day, God willing. However, she didn’t listen to me and talked to her boyfriend regularly on the phone for three days. I asked her to tell me if she had any problems but to no avail and therefore, I killed her with a knife which I took from home.”
Is his beard more important than his daughter? Did he have no affection for her whatsoever? How does murdering your daughter restore honour? Was there really any honour to begin with? What madness!
Notably, the identity of her lover has yet to be established but she was reportedly in a relationship with the son of a fakir (Muslim mendicant). The police complaint was made by Shahid’s elder brother, Naseer Ahmed. OpIndia attempted to contact him but he claimed to be at a relative’s funeral and didn’t talk.
“The accused father showed no signs of remorse after committing the heinous act. There is chaos and anxiety among the family members and neighbours after the incident,” voiced an eyewitness, Saleem Ahmed….
