UN-sponsored materials teach kids as young as 10 about foreplay, other sexual acts

The United Nations Children’s Fund is reportedly sponsoring materials that teach minors worldwide, some as young as 10, to explore their preferred sexual practices through things like foreplay and to view masturbation as a way to understand their bodies and desires. 

The Center for Family and Human Rights, a nonpartisan think-tank, analyzed dozens of the U.N. agency’s programs and materials in a July report titled, “UNICEF: Attack on the World’s Children.” 

Max Primorac, a senior research fellow at the Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom at The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think-tank, told The Christian Post that his research has also uncovered evidence suggesting UNICEF imposes sexual ideologies on children. The researcher also pointed to numerous examples of UNICEF openly promoting LGBT messaging in its programming.

“C-Fam conducts serious research, and their findings confirm my own discovery of UNICEF imposing radical sex ideologies on some of the most vulnerable populations, especially children in Africa. That merits a total cut off in US aid, including through our global HIV/AIDS program PEPFAR.”

In a Friday statement, C-Fam noted that UNICEF promotes the types of materials cited in its report without explicit approval from the U.N. member states. The think-tank also asserted that most of the U.N. General Assembly disapproves of the material promoted by UNICEF. 

UNICEF did not respond to The Christian Post’s request for comment.

While UNICEF claims to promote “age-appropriate” comprehensive sexuality education materials, C-Fam’s analysis highlighted a “Your Guide to Adulthood Without Secrets” brochure that the agency published in January 2024. The brochure is intended for Ukrainian children of various age groups, including teenagers, preteens and young children.

The UNICEF brochure aimed at Ukrainian children ages 15 to 18 tells teenagers that “sex happens” before going into detail about several sexual acts, including anal sex. UNICEF’s CSE material also tells teenagers that masturbation is “part of healthy sexual behavior.”

Regarding Ukrainian children ages 10 to 14, the brochure claims that “All types of sexual orientation are natural,” and that phrases such as “traditional and non-traditional orientation are incorrect.” The material also encourages the young teens and preteens to think about their preferred sexual practices and to discuss these preferences with a partner while they’re still unmarried.

“Foreplay and caressing touch help you relax, feel comfortable, and increase sexual arousal," the UNICEF brochure states. "[…] In order to understand what caressing you and your partner like, you need to talk about it."

Regarding the topic of masturbation, the material claims that the act is “surrounded by myths,” claiming that “it is one of the ways to relieve stress, quench sexual arousal, explore one’s own body, sexuality and desires.”

C-Fam’s report also highlighted Laaha, an online platform supported by UNICEF that girls of any age can reportedly access without parental oversight. The think-tank’s report highlighted screenshots and quotes from Laaha instructing girls to touch themselves and to think of foreplay as a “warm-up to the main event.”

UNICEF’s 2016 review of CSE in Thailand, cited in C-Fam’s report, also noted that “Many students hold attitudes that reject gender equality and sexual rights.” 

“Although diverse topics are covered in the CSE curriculum, many institutions teach about sexuality from a point of view that emphasizes the negative consequences of sex and does not cover positive aspects or promote students’ analytic and critical-thinking skills,” the agency’s review stated.

“Topics related to the prevention of teenage pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections and HIV, as well as sexual anatomy and development are emphasized most, while topics related to gender, sexual rights and citizenship; sexual and gender diversity; gender inequality; safe abortion; safe sex for same-sex couples; and bullying are less often taught,” the review continued.

The scrutiny over UNICEF-sponsored CSE materials follows another controversy over a paper that critics said downplayed the harm of pornography on children. 

In April 2021, UNICEF published a report titled “Digital Age Assurance Tools and Children’s Rights Online Across the Globe,” with the study later disappearing from the agency’s website a month later. A UNICEF spokesperson told Snopes at the time that the paper had been removed "because it was being misrepresented in a way that didn’t reflect UNICEF’s position."

While UNICEF’s report acknowledged that “there are several different kinds of risks and harms that have been linked to children’s exposure to pornography,” critics took issue with the report’s claim that “the evidence is inconsistent, and there is currently no universal agreement on the nature and extent of the harm caused to children by viewing content classified as pornography.”

Nearly 500 child safety experts from 26 different nations signed a letter in response to UNICEF’s report that denounced what they called the “harmful inaccuracies regarding the impact of pornography to children.”

While accusing the giant social network of pursuing profits over safety, a former Facebook data scientist told U.S. senators on Tuesday that she believes stricter government oversight could alleviate the dangers the company poses, from harming children to inciting political violence and fuelling misinformation.

Frances Haugen, testifying before the Senate commerce subcommittee on consumer protection, presented a wide-ranging condemnation of Facebook.

She accused the company of failing to make changes to Instagram after internal research showed apparent harm to some teens and being dishonest in its public fight against hate and misinformation.

Haugen's accusations were buttressed by tens of thousands of pages of internal research documents she secretly copied before leaving her job in the company's civic integrity unit.

But she also offered thoughtful ideas about how Facebook's social media platforms could be made safer. 

She laid responsibility for the company's profits-over-safety strategy right at the top, with CEO Mark Zuckerberg, but she also expressed empathy for Facebook's dilemma.

Haugen, who says she joined the company in 2019 because "Facebook has the potential to bring out the best in us," said she didn't leak internal documents to a newspaper and then come before Congress in order to destroy the company or call for its breakup, as many consumer advocates and lawmakers of both parties have called for.

The 37-year-old data expert from Iowa has a degree in computer engineering and a master's degree in business from Harvard University. Prior to being recruited by Facebook, she worked for 15 years at tech companies, including Google, Pinterest and Yelp.

"Facebook's products harm children, stoke division and weaken our democracy," Haugen said. "The company's leadership knows how to make Facebook and Instagram safer but won't make the necessary changes because they have put their astronomical profits before people.

"Congressional action is needed," she said. "They won't solve this crisis without your help."

Bipartisan support for more oversight

Democrats and Republicans have shown a rare unity around the revelations of Facebook's handling of potential risks to teens from Instagram, and bipartisan bills have proliferated to address social media and data-privacy problems. But getting legislation through Congress is a heavy slog.

The Federal Trade Commission has taken a stricter stance toward Facebook and other tech giants in recent years.

"Whenever you have Republicans and Democrats on the same page, you're probably more likely to see something," said Gautam Hans, a technology law and free-speech expert at Vanderbilt University's law school in Nashville.

Haugen suggested, for example, that the minimum age for Facebook's popular Instagram photo-sharing platform could be increased from the current 13 to 16 or 18.

She also acknowledged the limitations of possible remedies.

Facebook, like other social media companies, uses algorithms to rank and recommend content to users' news feeds. When the ranking is based on engagement — likes, shares and comments — as it is now with Facebook, users can be vulnerable to manipulation and misinformation. Haugen would prefer the ranking to be chronological.

But, she testified, "people will choose the more addictive option even if it is leading their daughters to eating disorders."

'The buck stops with Mark'

Haugen said a 2018 change to the content flow contributed to more divisiveness and ill will in a network ostensibly created to bring people closer together.

Despite the enmity that the new algorithms were feeding, she said Facebook found that they helped keep people coming back — a pattern that helped the social media giant sell more of the digital ads that generate most of its revenue.

Haugen said she believed that Facebook didn't set out to build a destructive platform.

"I have a huge amount of empathy for Facebook," she said. "These are really hard questions, and I think they feel a little trapped and isolated."

But "in the end, the buck stops with Mark," Haugen said, referring to Zuckerberg, who controls more than 50 per cent of Facebook's voting shares.

"There is no one currently holding Mark accountable but himself."

Internal research on Instagram's effect on girls

Haugen said she believed that Zuckerberg was familiar with some of the internal research showing concerns about the potential negative impacts of Instagram.

The subcommittee is examining Facebook's use of information from its own researchers on Instagram that could indicate potential harm for some of its young users, especially girls, while it publicly downplayed the negative impacts.

For some of the teens devoted to Facebook's popular photo-sharing platform, the peer pressure generated by the visually focused Instagram led to mental health and body-image problems, and in some cases, eating disorders and suicidal thoughts, the research leaked by Haugen showed.

One internal study cited 13.5 per cent of teen girls saying Instagram makes thoughts of suicide worse and 17 per cent of teen girls saying it makes eating disorders worse.

She also has filed complaints with federal authorities alleging that Facebook's own research shows that it amplifies hate, misinformation and political unrest, but that the company hides what it knows.

'We don't agree with her characterization,' company says

After recent reports in the Wall Street Journal based on documents she leaked to the newspaper raised a public outcry, Haugen revealed her identity in a 60 Minutes interview that aired Sunday night on CBS.

As the public relations debacle over the Instagram research grew last week, Facebook put on hold its work on a kids' version of Instagram, which the company says is meant mainly for tweens aged 10 to 12.

Haugen said that Facebook prematurely turned off safeguards designed to thwart misinformation and incitement to violence after Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump in last year's presidential election, alleging that contributed to the deadly Jan. 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol.

After the November election, Facebook dissolved the civic integrity unit where Haugen had been working. That, she says, was the moment she realized that "I don't trust that they're willing to actually invest what needs to be invested to keep Facebook from being dangerous."

Haugen says she told Facebook executives when they recruited her that she wanted to work in an area of the company that fights misinformation because she had lost a friend to online conspiracy theories.

Facebook maintains that Haugen's allegations are misleading and insists there is no evidence to support the premise that it is the primary cause of social polarization.

"Today, a Senate Commerce subcommittee held a hearing with a former product manager at Facebook who worked for the company for less than two years, had no direct reports, never attended a decision-point meeting with (top) executives — and testified more than six times to not working on the subject matter in question. We don't agree with her characterization of the many issues she testified about," the company said in a statement.

UNICEF Endorses “Sexual Autonomy” for Kids/Biden Approves

NEW YORK, October 8 (C-Fam) UNICEF’s Executive Board has approved a strategic plan that endorses sexual autonomy for children and school-based access to abortion and contraception.

The new strategic plan, which will guide the agency through 2025, added “sexual and reproductive health and rights” and “sexual orientation and gender identity” to the agency’s mandate for the first time. The Biden administration endorsed the new plan.

UNICEF already promoted the ability of adolescents to make autonomous decisions about their sexuality and the presence of sexuality education and sexual health services for children in schools. But this was the first time these had appeared in UNICEF’s internal strategic documents with the approval of UN member states, as the Friday Fax reported in August.

Thirty-six nations that sit on the UNICEF Executive Board endorsed the new plan with the disclaimer that it was not negotiated by UN Member States and that it “includes some terms that have not been intergovernmentally endorsed in the United Nations system.” The decision does not identify the terms in the strategic plan covered by the disclaimer.

The plan further protects Member States by directing the agency to implement the strategic plan “in accordance with the principles of national ownership of programme countries, taking into account their national priorities and needs, recognizing their different contexts and particular characteristics, guided by international human rights treaties and humanitarian principles for humanitarian assistance.”

“Sexual and reproductive health and rights” is a term of art coined by countries and groups to promote abortion, LGBT rights, and sexual autonomy for children. The General Assembly rejected the controversial term when it was first proposed in the negotiations of the Sustainable Development Goals in 2013 and has rejected it repeatedly in UN negotiations each year since. A large number of UN member states also continue to object to “sexual orientation and gender identity” in UN documents.

The official twitter account of the U.S. Mission to the United Nations praised UNICEF and other UN agencies who also added “sexual and reproductive health and rights” to their mandate recently.

“We commend UNDP, UNFPA, UNOPS, UNICEF, and UN Women on the successful advancement of the 2022-2025 Strategic Plans and for recognizing the importance of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights to accelerating progress toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals,” the tweet reads.

Until this year, the controversial term had only been endorsed in the mandate of the UN Population Fund (UNFPA). “Sexual orientation and gender identity” had not been included in any previous strategic plans of UN agencies.

Iran expressed “deep concern” with the inclusion of the terms “sexual orientation and gender identity, sexual rights, comprehensive sexuality education, programming gender in a transformative way” in the plan.

“Iran and a number of delegations have, on numerous occasions, expressed our opposition on the inclusion of such terms in UN documents,” they said.

The Russian Federation also made statement distancing itself from the controversial terminology in the new UNICEF plan.

Appeals court reinstates Texas abortion ban TWO days after

In a blow to the Joe Biden administration, Texas has received a green light to enforce its strict abortion ban again – a mere two days after a federal judge ruled to suspend the law that has sparked an intense legal battle.

The 5th US Circuit Court of Appeals overruled the decision by a lower federal court on Friday, thus allowing Texas to resume the enforcement of its abortion law, which effectively prohibits the termination of pregnancy past six weeks of gestation. 

Commonly known as the “heartbeat bill,” the statewide abortion law was put on hold on Wednesday after US District Judge Robert Pitman sided with President Joe Biden’s Justice Department, with the White House calling the ruling “an important step toward restoring the constitutional rights of women.”

The victory lap was short-lived, however. With the appeals court granting the Texas government’s request to stay the preliminary injunction on Friday, the DOJ now has until October 12 to respond.  

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton applauded the appellate court’s decision, vowing to “fight federal overreach at every turn.”

In a bid to shield the law from federal challenges, the Texas government argued that it’s not officials, but private citizens who would enforce it by suing abortion providers. Under the law, citizens can be awarded more than $10,000 in damages plus legal costs if successful. Although Texas’ attempt to effectively muddy the waters did not stop the Biden administration from contesting the near-total ban, it has had its desired effect on abortion clinics, some of which have closed their doors since the law went into effect on September 1.

Several abortion providers reportedly resumed services on Thursday, hours before the appeals court reinstated the ban. Commenting on the new twist in what promises to be a protracted legal battle, President of the Center for Reproductive Rights Nancy Northup urged the Supreme Court to “step in and stop the madness.”

The madness has been going on for nearly 50 years. I hope SCOTUS does stop the madness.

The Biden administration has long argued that the law defies the US constitution, insisting it should be declared “null and void.”

gender-neutral aisles in toy stores

California Governor Gavin Newsom has signed a law requiring large toy retailers to provide gender-neutral toy sections in their stores. Critics say it’s government overreach, and that Newsom has bigger issues to fix.

The bill, signed into law by Newsom on Saturday, will require toy retailers and chains with more than 500 employees to display toys traditionally marketed at girls or boys together in a special area of floor space. This area can be “labeled at the discretion of the retailer,” according to the bill’s text.

The bill describes the traditional labeling of toys, for example dolls for girls, trucks and guns for boys, as making “it more difficult for the consumer to compare the products and incorrectly impl[ying] that their use by one gender is inappropriate.”

Stores will still be allowed to maintain separate boys and girls sections, but failing to provide a gender-neutral aisle will be punishable by fines of up to $500. Though toy manufacturers have slowly been moving to de-gender their products, California’s law is the first of its kind in any US state.

“Part of it is to make sure if you’re a young girl that you can find a police car, fire truck, a periodic table or a dinosaur,” Assemblyman Evan Low, who introduced the bill, told the Los Angeles Times. “And then similarly, if you’re a boy, if you’re more artistic and want to play with glitter, why not? Why should you feel the stigma of saying, ‘Oh, this should be shamed’ and going to a different location?”

“I think it’s important that we as a state are demonstrating our values of diversity and inclusion.”

Not everyone is as enthusiastic, and the new law was met with ridicule and anger from conservatives online. “Love how a state with high unemployment, crime so bad people are leaving, a homelessness crisis and raging wild fires has the time to mandate gender neutral toys apparently?” one commenter wrote on Twitter.

Even before the law was signed by Newsom, the liberal Los Angeles Times Editorial Board said that while gender-neutral sections in toy stores are a “great idea,” progressive lawmakers “need to check this trend toward interfering in seemingly every aspect of private commerce.” 

Exactly! As it states above, they seem to be getting around to that sort of thing anyway.

‘They’re turning the frogs gay!’ Twitter reacts to Kellogg’s gay pride cereal that teaches children to choose their own pronouns

Corporate America’s alliance with LGBT activism has been brought to the breakfast table with the rollout of a new Kellogg’s gay pride cereal that encourages children to choose their own pronouns.

The “Together With Pride” cereal, which went on sale in stores across the US last week, features rainbow-colored hearts “dusted with edible glitter,” according to Kellogg Co. It was produced in collaboration with the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD). Kellogg’s is donating $3 to the activist group for each box purchased when buyers upload their receipts through a special promotion.

Together With Pride will celebrate that “no matter who you are, who you love or what pronouns you use, you are too awesome to fit into a box,” Kellogg said. GLAAD president Sarah Kate Ellis added that the cereal will create opportunities for families to “have conversations about the importance of acceptance, compassion and understanding,” especially regarding “LGBTQ+” children.

The campaign was mocked on social media, with many users questioning what had become of their favorite Kellogg cartoon characters, such as “Dig’em Frog,” the mascot for Honey Smacks. “They're turning the frogs gay,” said a commenter with the account name “Alex Jones was right.” The post alluded to Jones, a right-wing radio host who was ridiculed for a rant in which he claimed that frogs were being turned gay by chemicals in the water.

Openly gay talk show host Dave Rubin quipped: “I had no idea that Tony the Tiger and Toucan Sam were dating.”

Toucan Sam, the mascot for Froot Loops, is featured on the side of the Together with Pride box, where fans can fill in their own pronouns. The opening tab at the top of the box says, “Lift here to open your heart.” Below that is another label for filling in pronouns.

The Kellogg-GLAAD venture is one in a long line of gay-themed marketing ploys that major corporations are deploying as they gear up virtue-signaling campaigns for Pride Month in June. For instance, Mars Inc. has introduced a Pride-themed version of its Skittles candy, with the colors removed from its rainbow packaging and a note saying, “Only one rainbow matters during Pride.” And Danish toymaker Lego introduced a buildable model featuring a rainbow backdrop and 11 figurines, each with their own hair style, to match each color.

Russian LGBT Network in court as St Petersburg prosecutors demand its Facebook page be blocked for 'negative impact' on kids

Prosecutors in Russia have demanded that Facebook block the page of the Russian LGBT Network, with the authorities alleging that it harms the development and health of minors. The profile is followed by over 5,000 people.

The initial complaint was filed by MP Igor Sapko, the former mayor of Perm and a representative of the ruling United Russia party, who said that “propaganda of non-traditional sexual relationships is becoming mainstream on many Internet platforms.”

According to the prosecutors, the group creates “an attractive image of homosexuality, leading to the involvement of citizens, especially teenagers, in destructive lifestyles.”

“The materials on the page may have a negative impact on the development of children, provoking an unhealthy interest [in LGBT culture], instilling LGBT values, and involving minors in the LGBT community,” said the press service of a Saint Petersburg court, the city where the group is based.

According to Alexander Belik, a lawyer for the Russian LGBT Network, this is not the first time Saint Petersburg prosecutors have tried to block the organization’s pages.

“It started in 2019 when they targeted a group on [Russian social network] VKontakte,” Belik explained. “Two times they tried to do something with our website. Now they have switched to Facebook.”

The LGBT Network is run by the ‘Sphere’ charity fund, which is deemed by Russia’s Ministry of Justice to be a foreign agent. Founded in 2006, the group seeks to promote LGBT rights inside the country and aspires “to a society in which discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or sex variances does not exist.”

Virginia gym teacher placed on leave after refusing to say ‘biological boy can be a girl’ at school board meeting

An elementary school gym teacher in Virginia, US has been placed on leave right after he spoke out against the county school board policy proposal that says teachers must allow students to use gender pronouns of their choice.

Leesburg Elementary School physical education teacher Byron ‘Tanner’ Cross has been placed on leave, Loudoun County Public Schools confirmed to Fox News.

Spokesperson Wayde Byard did not go into the details about the decision regarding Cross, but said that it was “not the principal’s,” and clarified that the teacher had been placed on administrative leave with pay.

The clip of Cross blasting the county’s gender policy during a school board meeting on Tuesday was earlier shared on social media.

“I love all of my students, but I will never lie to them, regardless of the consequences,” he said.

can be a girl and vice versa, because it’s against my religion.

The teacher referenced the county’s draft policy 8040 that says school staff must allow students to use “their chosen name and gender pronouns that reflect their gender identity without any substantiating evidence.” He argued that the change would “damage children, defile the holy image of God.”

Cross told journalist Vince Coglianese on his podcast, The Vince Coglianese Show, that the decision to place him on leave came not from the principal but from Loudon County Public Schools. “I was told that I was disruptive,” the teacher said, describing his visit to the human resources (HR) department.

“HR said, ‘We want to resolve this as quick as possible,’ but that is not my feeling at all,” he said.

Cross added that, during a meeting with HR, he was shown a letter accusing him of having “engaged in conduct that has had a disruptive impact on the operations of Leesburg Elementary School.”

“I wrote to the school board multiple times, [pleading] with them just to sit down and have a conversation… and I never heard anything back from them,” the teacher said.

The Alliance Defending Freedom, a conservative legal group, demanded the school board reinstate Cross and “refrain from any future retaliation against protected speech.” It added that the teacher would be “forced to pursue other legal options to safeguard his rights,” if the board did not back down.

The American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit against the state of Arkansas in federal court, arguing that a new law banning hormonal and surgical gender-transitioning of minors is unconstitutional.

The lawsuit, Brandt et al v. Rutledge et al, is being brought by four Arkansas families who are challenging HB 1570, also known as the Save Adolescents From Experimentation Act. The law bans medical providers from prescribing experimental puberty-blocking drugs and cross-sex hormones to children or performing elective cosmetic surgeries such as double mastectomies and orchiectomy (removal of the testes), on children younger than 18. The law also prohibits insurers and state taxpayers' dollars from funding these practices and allows insurance companies to deny coverage of surgical genital mutilation, chemical castration and related procedures at any age. 

The SAFE Act is the first law of its kind in the nation and passed despite a last-minute veto by Gov. Asa Hutchinson, a Republican, who argued that it violated limited government principles. The Republican-majority state Legislature subsequently overrode his veto. 

Joining the families in challenging the law are Drs. Michelle Hutchison and Kathryn Stambough, who argue that it prevents them from treating patients with "medically-necessary" care and prevents them from referring them to other providers. 

The lawsuit argues that "by prohibiting any medical treatment 'related to gender transition,' [the law] denies adolescents medically necessary treatment and prevents parents from obtaining medically necessary care for their children. It further prohibits doctors from treating their patients in accordance with the well-established standards of care or from referring patients to other doctors to receive the appropriate care."

"It violates the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment because it discriminates on the basis of sex and transgender status by prohibiting certain medical treatments only for transgender patients and only when the care is 'related to gender transition,'" the suit continues.

 

That constitutional clause states that U.S. states cannot make or enforce laws that "abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

The suit also argues that the Arkansas ban is an affront to free speech, violating the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution by prohibiting doctors from referring their patients in accordance with what they deem as accepted standards of care. 

The defendant named in the suit is Attorney General of Arkansas Leslie Rutledge who has vowed to defend the law. 

“I will aggressively defend Arkansas’ law which strongly limits permanent, life-altering sex changes to adolescents. I won’t sit idly by while radical groups such as the ACLU use our children as pawns for their own social agenda,” Rutledge said in a statement. 

The sponsor of the contested law in the state House, Rep. Robin Lundstrum (R-Elm Springs), said that she was saddened to hear of the legal action against the state's efforts "to protect children from chemical and surgical castration" and that the damage to the human body will be seen from those who regret going through the experimental procedures. 

"Our children are incredibly precious and deserve the right to grow up safe and healthy," Lundstrum said.  

She added: "I am so thankful that we have a capable attorney general in Leslie Rutledge and her wonderful staff who will fight hard to protect children against those who would harm them for political purposes. Sadly, there will be children in years to come who will be asking, ‘Where were the adults and why didn’t someone say no, this is not healthy for me to do to my body?’"

A controversial ‘health and wellness’ teacher is back in the spotlight, with parents and critics outraged over ‘educational’ videos on masturbation and consent being shown to first graders.

Justine Ang Fonte, who has said on her website that she has “reveled in disrupting health education for 10 years,” previously triggered parents after details from a “porn literacy” class for students at Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School in New York went public. 

She is now the center of attention once again for her work at a similarly expensive New York school, Dalton, which costs over $50,000 a year to attend. Her sex education work there includes teaching six-year-olds about consent and masturbation. 

Parents had previously complained about Fonte’s teachings, but were told they had “misinterpreted” her class. Reports of Fonte’s separate “porn literacy” class have renewed outrage over her Dalton teachings. 

One video used by Fonte, which was obtained by the New York Post, includes cartoon kids asking about things like masturbation.

“Hey, how come sometimes my penis gets big sometimes and points in the air?” a little boy asks in the cartoon, later adding that he touches himself “because it feels good.”

Similarly, a young girl later inquires about touching her “vulva.”

The school and Fonte have defended the class, saying that the word “masturbation” is never directly used, and children are taught not to touch themselves in public, as well as about consent. Numerous parents, however, argue the class is unneeded for kids so young and aspects of it go too far, like the lessons on consent.

“Literally parents are supposed to say to their kids, May I hug you?” one parent said, according to the Post. 

“I’m paying $50,000 to these a**holes to tell my kid not to let her grandfather hug her when he sees her?” an unidentified mother added. 

Other parents said they were “furious” and Fonte should not be teaching young children, nor had she ever received consent from parents for her “sexually explicit” lessons. 

Details about Fonte’s lessons have now angered far more than just parents of Dalton students, with some even arguing her work could be considered pedophilia.

“In my opinion, she should have to register as a sex offender. This is worse than woke – it’s pedophilic,” conservative author Candace Owens tweeted in reaction to the report on Dalton. 

I completely agree with Candace. Erin's Law should be the level of sex-ed teaching in elementary schools.

Fonte’s previous ‘porn literacy’ class also left people scratching their heads. The lessons included images of partially nude women (some in bondage), as well as discussions on “orgasm gaps” and popular search terms on pornographic websites such as “barely legal” and “anal.” 

Dr. William M. Donohue, Columbia’s head of school, eventually sent an email to parents apologizing for the course and ensuring them that it does not “represent our philosophy.” 

“It was unfortunate that we did not better inform ourselves of the speaker’s specific content in advance,” he said. “In this case, the speaker did not align with our unique CGPS mission and for this, I apologize.”

You should resign for allowing such teaching in your school. how can someone come in and teach classes without anyone knowing what they will teach?

UNICEF Report Says Pornography Not Always Harmful to Children

WASHINGTON, D.C., May 14 (C-Fam) A UN agency is again immersed in controversy for a recent report suggesting there is no conclusive evidence that children exposed to pornography are harmed.

The report published by the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) addresses how government policy can be used to protect children from harmful, abusive and violent content online.  Its conclusion is based on a European study of 19 EU countries that found in most countries, most children who saw pornographic images were “neither upset nor happy.” In fact, the report UNICEF relies on says 39 percent of Spanish children were happy after seeing pornography.

The astounding stupidity is revealed right there. They are measuring the children's emotions during or immediately after viewing pornography. There is no consideration of the long-term effects on the children. The majority of children will be affected in the long-term, to ignore this is at best absurd, and at worst sinister.

I knew a 3-y/o whose parents watched pornography. He enjoyed it so much that he attempted to replicate what he saw on other small children. 

Porn fighters disagree with the UNICEF data. “UNICEF’s report ignores the vast body of research demonstrating the harms of pornography to children. By ignoring the real harms pornography can have, UNICEF is playing roulette with children’s health and safety,” said Lisa Thompson, vice president and director of the Research Institute at the National Center on Sexual Exploitation.

Thompson’s organization, which provides expert research to inform policy decisions to end the sexual abuse and exploitation of women and children, has found that pornography can be a central driver of this abuse.

“Mainstream pornography contains horrific sexual abuse, rape, incest, racism – all of which children should not consume,” continued Thompson, and “UNICEF’s milquetoast assessment of the impacts hardcore pornography on children does nothing to challenge the political narrative that pornography is benign, and as a result, puts children in harm’s way.”

The 2020 EU Kids Online Study concluded that some children and young people “intentionally seek out sexual content” for a variety of reasons and that seeing sexual images “might also represent an opportunity” to provide answers to questions about puberty and sexual identity. The study encouraged “seeing the nuances” which lead children to seek out and view sexual content online.

Nuances, like rape, incest, racism, etc.? Also, that women are there for the sexual pleasure of men - probably a main driver in the growth of the culture of rape in schools and colleges.

UNICEF says any efforts to block children from accessing pornography online might infringe on their human rights. UNICEF bases this claim on an expansive interpretation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

UNICEF also claims that asking for age-verification to access pornography online may deny children access to what it calls “vital sexuality education.” It should be noted that critics charge “comprehensive sexuality education” is pornographic and harmful to children.

UNICEF’s release of this report comes just days after the U.S. Agency for International Development announced its renewal of its longstanding partnership with UNICEF, committing an additional $300 million in direct program funding. The U.S. is UNICEF’s largest government donor with 2020 funding reaching almost $994 million in humanitarian and development programs.

UNICEF generally has joined the feminist push at the United Nations in calls for abortion. The children’s agency was founded to help displaced children after the Second World War. Critics say UNICEF has strayed far from its founding vision, and that this call for children’s access to pornography under the guise of human rights and sex-ed underscores this change. At one time, the Holy See stopped its annual symbolic donation to UNICEF.

Have paedophiles or the LGBTQ+ lobby reached the top of UNICEF? No wonder some people see paedophiles ruling the world.

BRUSSELS, Wed. – A former chief of the United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund in Belgium (Unicef) denied in court yesterday his involvement in a child sex ring and said he had been unaware of a colleague’s child-pornography activities.

“I was never aware of this …,” said Jacques Verbeeck, 63, when asked in court if had known a fellow Unicef employee was developing pornographic photographs of children.

Verbeeck, director of the Belgian agency until his arrest last June, went on trial on Monday with 13 others charged with indecency and incitement to debauchery against children.

The accused, who include Michel Felu, 46, a former Unicef volunteer worker, are said to have taken part in a child sex ring, which involved pornographic photographs of children being developed at Unicef’s Brussels office.

Other defendants include parents accused of purveying their children for sexual purposes.

A group called Cries, the Centre for Research and Information on Children and Sexuality, is alleged to have provided a front for the child-abuse ring.

Felu has been accused of using the basement of Unicef’s Brussels office to develop pornographic photographs of children which were then sold.

Challenged over Felu’s testimony that Verbeeck had known he was producing these photographs, the former Unicef chief said:

“I was never aware of this and I am surprised Felu has said anything to the contrary.”

Verbeeck said he had learnt in 1986 that Felu had been prosecuted several times for paedophilia, but that he had given him steady employment to help him rehabilitate.

Yeah, 'cause that's his job, to rehabilitate pedophiles rather than protect children!!??!!

Verbeeck, who said he was opposed to paedophilia, said when it became clear Felu was engaged in suspicious activities he had immediately asked for him to be dismissed.


These abuses came about the same time as Marc Dutroux began his infamous career of supplying high placed persons with child sex slaves. Dutroux was a psychopathic murderer and child rapist who was protected by persons who were high up in the Belgian government. Dutroux' story makes this one sound pretty tame.

To make matters worse, there is evidence that there was at least one other pedophile ring involving VIPs running parallel to Dutroux'. 


Pornography professor found hanged (20.07.87)

A Belgian professor who was involved in a world-wide child pornography scandal has hanged himself in prison.

Professor Philippe Mulatin, 41, was the head of the sports institute at the Catholic University in Louvain-La-Neuve, near Brussels, and chairman of his local church council.

He appeared happily married with four children aged seven to 16.

However, secretly he was taking pornographic photographs of children and sending them off to clients around the world.

A parcel he sent by post broke open, and postal sorters found it contained pictures of naked young children.

After his arrest and confession, he went to his prison cell for the night, and hanged himself with torn sheets from the bed.

Prof. Mulatin was connected with a vast ring of pedophiles in Europe, America, Japan and Africa.

They were supplied from Brussels with photographs of children engaged in sexual acts with adults. Some were taken in the basement of a building used by the United Nations children’s organisation Unicef in Brussels.

Police have arrested Michel Felu, 45, the building’s caretaker, and Unicef’s Director in Belgium, Jozef Verbeeck, 63.

Also under arrest are two doctors and two mothers who rented their children for the photography sessions.

The head of the United Nations Children’s Fund in Belgium resigned today after the disclosure of a child pornography case linked to the Belgian branch of the organization.

A spokesman at Unicef headquarters in Geneva said the head of the organization’s Belgian committee, Gilbert Jaeger, had resigned ”to show how angry he is about what has happened in his organization.”

In a statement issued in Geneva, Unicef said it is ”deeply shocked” by the scandal, which has led to 14 arrests in Belgium and others in Switzerland, France and Britain.

Unicef said it was investigating charges that the Belgian committee was linked to an organization producing pornographic photographs of children and distributing them throughout Europe.

Unicef’s mission is to help and protect the world’s children. Like many other United Nations bodies, it has independent volunteer committees in all Western industrial countries to raise money for its activities – in Unicef’s case, largely through the sale of holiday greeting cards, ‘The First to Suffer’.

The Unicef statement noted that the organization spent $400 million last year on projects promoting the health, nutrition and education of children in developing countries. It is currently drafting an international convention for the protection of children’s rights, to be submitted later this year to the General Assembly in New York.

”The first to suffer from the discredit which would unjustly fall on this organization as a result of this affair would evidently be the children of the third world,” Unicef warned in the statement.

The greeting card, 'First to Suffer', are aptly titled. It seems children always pay the price the the lechery and larceny of men.

The scandal erupted last week, when the Belgian police arrested Jos Verbeek, 63 years old, the director of Unicef’s Belgian committee, and charged him with inciting minors to debauchery.

The arrest followed the discovery of a secret photographic studio in the basement of the Brussels building where the committee’s offices are housed. The studio was used to take pornographic photographs of children, many of whom were of North African origin, the police said.

The police said more than 1,000 such photographs were seized, along with a mailing list of some 400 names in 15 European countries that had been prepared on the Unicef office computer.

Similar photographs found in several other European countries appear to have been taken in the Unicef office in Brussels, according to investigators.

Among those arrested was another Unicef employee, Michel Felu, 45, who the police say organized evening computer classes for children in the organization’s offices. These children were then sometimes made to pose for pornographic photographs, the police said.

UN Investigates New Child Sex Abuse Complaints in Central African Republic

25 new cases in 2016 alone

How pathetic is it when the United Nations sends troops into a troubled country to protect its citizens, and those troops rape or gang-rape the country's children? And these are the 'good guys'!

The United Nations is investigating new allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse by both UN and non-UN peacekeepers, as well as civilians in the Central African Republic.

The new allegations received by the UN Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) refer to incidents which occurred in 2014 and 2015 in the Kemo prefecture, according to UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric.

One of the accusations involves a minor and members of the Burundian military contingent.

"The allegations are in connection with the alleged rape of a 14-year-old girl which was first reported to the mission by UNICEF [the United Nations Children's Fund] last week," Dujarric said at a press briefing.

He also revealed details of a new case of sexual exploitation involving a member of the Moroccan military contingent which happened this year, bringing to 25 the total number of allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse reported so far in 2016.

A delegation led by the Secretary-General's Deputy Special Representative for the Central African Republic is visiting Kemo prefecture to gather more information on the allegations and engage with local communities and authorities.

“The Mission said that its primary concern was to ensure that victims have been assisted and all reports immediately investigated to ensure that any perpetrator is appropriately sanctioned. The integrated team will gather all available information and preserve evidence to the extent possible,” Dujarric said

Authorities in Morocco and Burundi have both been informed of the allegations; Morocco has said it will carry out an investigation while Burundi has until the end of the week to decide if it will conduct an inquiry. If it does not, the UN will conduct its own investigation.

The organization has come under fire over its handling of allegations of sexual exploitation and child abuse by its peacekeepers in the Central African Republic and Congo, and has vowed to investigate and address these allegations.

The previous head of the UN mission in the Central African Republic, Babacar Gaye, resigned last August while around 800 Congolese peacekeepers were repatriated last month.

The United Nations reported 99 allegations of sexual exploitation or sexual abuse involving UN staff members across the board last year - 69 of these involved personnel from 10 peacekeeping missions.

The United Nations currently has 106,000 troops and police serving in 16 peacekeeping missions.

Boko Haram's Child Victims Learn to Smile Again at Niger Camp

ASSAGA (Niger) (AFP) - In a shed at the heart of the Assaga refugee camp in southeast Niger, around 50 children sing and dance, masking the deep emotional trauma inflicted on them by Boko Haram.

Nearby, little girls who fled the brutal Islamists in neighbouring Nigeria huddle around jigsaw puzzles, while barefoot young boys in ragged clothes or shirtless play football and table tennis.

The camp has no school, but staff from UN agencies and specialised charities do their best to help the youngsters, who make up the majority of the around 6,000 refugees here who were routed from their villages by Boko Haram.

Special help is being provided by psychologists to 1,011 of the children, seen as among the most vulnerable victims of the violence, to adapt to a new life, often in the wake of terrible events.

"Many children were witnesses or the direct victims of atrocities by Boko Haram," says Adama Cossimbo, head of the psychological help centre financed by the Italian non-governmental organisation COOPI.

"Boko Haram forced some children to watch their mothers or sisters being raped," a UN relief worker says. "Others saw their father or their brother having his throat slit."

The trauma was so severe for some that when they first arrived in Assaga, they would not eat or speak, he adds.

- 'On the right path' -

According to COOPI, many of the children show signs of mental illness.

"We're developing games and activities to strengthen their resilience after the trauma they've endured," says Cossimbo, who works with a psychologist and teachers.

Along with sports and games, relief workers give puzzles and memory quizzes to the children cared for at the centre.

Two months on, Cossimbo is optimistic. "They sing and seem to be their old cheerful selves... We're on the right path towards their 'reconstruction'," he claims with pride.

Nine-year-old Ali lost part of his family in a Boko Haram raid and has said nothing for days on end, but he manages to whisper: "I escaped from Boko Haram and I feel good here."

For Ali's father, wealthy bell pepper grower Elhadj Gremah, forced exile is sheer "humiliation".

"In the village, my children had all they needed to eat. Here they don't go to school and they sometimes sleep on empty stomachs," he complains.

At Assaga, huts supported with tree branches compete with standard-issue tents provided by the United Nations. First created by UN staff three months ago, the camp looks like a shantytown.

The UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) estimates that some 1.4 million children have fled Islamist attacks in Nigeria and neighbouring Niger, Cameroon and Chad in the past five months.

These regional nations have joined forces against Boko Haram as the Islamists have launched bloody cross-border raids.

"The flow of refugees and the lack of resources seriously compromises our ability to provide vital aid on the ground," the UN agency recently reported.

During a visit to the Diffa zone in mid-September, Toby Lanzer, the UN regional humanitarian coordinator for the Sahel, remarked on the "very severe security crisis" at Assaga.

"The situation here is atrocious," he added. "People are traumatised."

Diffa has for three years been confronted with food shortages because of successive periods of drought and floods. The arrival of about 150,000 refugees since 2013 has worsened the situation for local poor people.

"We have to act right now to save lives," insists Rotimy Djossaya, the local chief of the American NGO CARE. The authorities warn that Niger, a deeply poor country, could face another food crisis in 2016 because of a poor harvest.
