An elderly man who played Santa Claus in a Gatineau, Quebec., mall, is facing more charges after five more people have come forward accusing him of sexual assault.
Gatineau is the 4th largest city in Quebec and is just across the Ottawa River from Ottawa.
In the fall, Gatineau police charged the then 78-year-old man for sexual touching related to three minors between November 2012 and March 2013.
The three alleged victims are between the ages of 10 and 16.
The man was released on bail, under the condition that he must not be in the presence of children under the age of 16.
Police said nine more people came forward with allegations against the man, but just five wanted to press charges.
The alleged incidents now date back to 1982 and involve minors between four and 16 years old.
