400 Cases of FGM per Month in UK - No-one Ever Convicted

As the world embraces Islam, British Police embrace Female Genital Mutilation

Jailing parents for female genital mutilation ‘unlikely to benefit the child’ – police

An English police force has come under fire for claiming the prosecution of parents who allow female genital mutilation (FGM) of their children is “unlikely to benefit the child.”

West Midlands Police (WMP) was responding to a question from a Twitter user who asked why there had been no prosecutions for FGM, which has been illegal in Britain for more than 30 years.

“Education and safeguarding vulnerable girls is the focus. Prosecuting / jailing parents unlikely to benefit the child,” WMP tweeted.

The now-deleted tweet provoked outrage on Twitter.

Although WMP tried to backtrack on its earlier admission, it said it would only prosecute if it was “in the child’s best interest.”

It's hard to believe British police actually believe this policy is a good one. It may be preferable to the particular child to keep her parents rather than have them go to jail, but that is an astonishingly short-sighted attitude by police. There is now, absolutely no impediment to FGM being practiced in Britain, consequently we get the horrific numbers of 400 per month occurring. Unless and until the police and the judicial system lock people up for this criminal act, then it is not going to slow down or stop.

How does the British government and judiciary live with themselves knowing they have basically legalized FGM? Why are they so afraid of Muslims and their barbaric, inhumane practices? Is this a consequence of politicians being afraid of a voter backlash from Muslims? Are Muslim voters that powerful? How long before Sharia is implemented in several towns in the UK? Is this the road Britain wants to travel? And they wonder why Brexit won!

FGM is a form of child sex abuse and sexually abused children need advocates. They are voiceless! The state needs to be their voice and it is failing them miserably. How is this attitude any different than that which failed 1400 young girls in Rotherham?

Meanwhile, the world celebrates a liberal junky quoting the Quran at the Oscars last night. What madness!

There are 400 cases of FGM recorded in the UK every month, according to figures released last year. National Health Service (NHS) data showed at least two percent of new cases involved girls under the age of 18.

FGM parties reportedly take place in the UK,
where specialist midwives are flown in from Africa
to carry out the illegal procedure.

The World Health Organization (WHO) defines FGM as the total or partial removal of the female external genitalia for nonmedical reasons, sometimes without anesthesia. Those who have suffered the procedure sometimes have to have their vagina cut open for sex or childbirth, and sewn up again.

There has never been a successful prosecution
against anyone found practicing FGM in Britain,
despite it being illegal since 1985.

The procedure is punishable by 14 years in prison.

The first prosecution to reach the courts was in 2015, which resulted in acquittal.

Last year, prosecutors were considering whether to use laws against FGM in three cases in which doctors carried out cosmetic surgery on adult women. All the women paid for and consented to the private surgery in the belief that it would make them more attractive.
