Estonian mother flees to Russia with 2 girls after court clears Norwegian ex-husband of pedophilia charges

He bathed with his own daughters naked and made them kiss his crotch, an Estonian mom told RT of her ex-husband after escaping to Russia. But the Norwegian man's lawyers claim she's using pedophilia allegations to keep the kids.
It all started like a happy love story in 2009, but eventually turned into a nightmare.
Anna from the Estonian capital, Tallinn, arrived in Norway to work as a nurse at a senior home. It was there that she met Jostein Finseraasen, a male nurse whom the wards simply adored and courted her like a true gentleman. The couple got married three month later, with Anna already being pregnant.
But the domestic bliss turned out to be short-lived. “When we began living together I started noticing aggressive outbursts from him toward animals at the farm,” the woman recalled.

And this was only the beginning as the man soon redirected his anger from his livestock to his wife. “He was beating me up when I was pregnant,” Anna claimed.
But the woman still decided to give her relationship with Jostein a chance. In May 2010, she gave birth to her first daughter, Adelina, with her sister, Luisa, born a year later.
It was going quite well, until one day Anna opened the door to the bathroom where her husband was bathing 1-year-old Adelina and suffered the biggest shock of her life.
“The water was switched off. My man and my daughter were standing naked on the floor and she was touching his erect penis.”
Jostein “understood that he was caught red-handed,” but tried presenting everything as a misunderstanding, the woman recalled. However, the family's life became a series of unending quarrels and fights after that.
In late 2012, Anna realized that she couldn't stand it anymore and that it was no environment to raise her children in. She filed for divorce and as soon as it was finalized grabbed her daughters and moved back to Estonia. The woman insisted that it was the only way as the Norwegian authorities would have never taken her side in the conflict due to her being a foreigner and the kids would have stayed with their dad.

But Jostein managed to track them down in Tallinn and hired an expensive lawyer in order to obtain permission to see the kids regularly from the court. And for the next three years Adelina and Luisa visited Norway frequently, while their restless mother was waiting for them at home.
Anna said the girls always returned from their father “in a bad mood.” She also found that they had some kind of a rash in their pelvic areas which she first attributed to food allergies.
One time when Jostein was bringing the children back she saw how instead of a farewell kiss on the cheek, they were kissing him on the crotch.
The daughters later told her that they were also kissing their father the same way in Norway as well as bathing together and sleeping in the same bed naked.
During the conversation, which Anna recorded on video, Adelina confessed that her dad was “tickling her between the legs and it was painful” when they watched TV naked together. He explained that it was just a “game.”
Judging from what the girl was saying Anna came to the conclusion that Jostein attempted to perform a sexual act with Adelina on numerous occasions, while her younger sister Luisa was there watching.
Another daunting figure in the recollections of the girls was their grandfather, Steinar Finseraasen, who also took part in their ‘games’. The man is a known pedophile and served time in prison for sexually abusing minors in his earlier years.
Anna took the footage straight to the police and this led to a criminal case being initiated against Jostein. The Norwegian was arrested and put in custody in Estonia pending the probe and spent seven months in lockup.
A source close to the investigation told RT that the medical check on Adelina had revealed two scars on the girl's virginal membrane, which could've been caused by a mechanical interference. However, the doctors also didn't rule out the possibility of congenital pathology. A report from the psychologists also stated that both Adelina and Luisa singled out bathing naked with their dad as their most memorable moment.
Anna was hoping that the trial would finally put an end to the suffering of her daughters and hers but the court ruled that there wasn't enough “direct proof” of Jostein's guilt and acquitted the man, while also assigning financial compensation to him.
As soon as he regained freedom, the father launched a counterattack against his ex-wife. In the summer of 2017, he filed a lawsuit of his own with the aim of limiting Anna's parenting rights and taking custody of Adelina and Luisa. The Norwegian court ruled in his favor, while refusing to hear out the testimonies of the psychologists and juvenile justice experts who backed Anna's accusations.
The mother appealed the decision in a higher court, but while the proceedings went on Anna was ordered to bring her daughters to a psychological counseling center for meetings with their dad.
Those meetings had a “horrible” effect on the girls. Adelina started scratching her face making it bloody and shouted that “it was all her fault,” the mother said, adding that such behavior is typical for the victims of sexual abuse.
All of her appeals eventually failed. This January, Jostein was to come to Tallinn and take the girls away from Anna forever. Once again the woman was put in a situation where she had no other choice, but to flee.
She left Estonia with the children just a few days before her ex-husband was to arrive and headed to Russia, which, she said, was “the only country that helped us.”
But Jostein has no plans of giving up on his daughters. His lawyer insisted that all of the pedophilia claims were false and that Anna “simply taught her children how to lie.”
The mother began to slander her client after the children said that they wanted to live in Norway with their dad, she argued. As for Anna, “she has problems with her head,” the lawyer stated. “Jostein is suffering immensely because of this situation and is going to push for the return of the children.”
The lawyer also revealed that she had already contacted Interpol so that they would search for the missing daughters.
Meanwhile, Anna says that her girls “feel safe” in Russia and that they had been feeling much better psychologically. The woman and her daughters are being taken care of by human rights activists, who found free accommodation for them and helped enlist Adelina and Luisa into a school. They also addressed the Foreign Ministry so that the mother, who has Russian roots, and her children could get temporary asylum in the country.

A man who sexually harassed and raped his adopted underage daughters will spend 22 years in jail, a Russian court ruled. The “monster” father reportedly abused the girls more than 900 times before one told her stepmom.
The five girls have apparently lived a family hell for at least five years after they were taken from an orphanage to in the Far Eastern city of Komsomolsk-na-Amure. As reported by Komsomolskaya Pravda, the family had a reputation for being a decent and happy unit. But behind this façade, the 38-year-old stepfather was raping, abusing and threatening the children, who in turn feared to lose the only family they had, a prosecutor revealed to the paper.

The family reportedly had the total of eight adopted children – five daughters and three sons – and received financial help from the government. The couple also reportedly has three kids of their own.
The stepmother allegedly had no idea about the violence going on until one of the girls dared to speak up against the abuser. The woman immediately went to police, who then exposed hundreds of father’s gruesome crimes one by one.
When the father, identified on social media as Viktor Lishavskiy, stood before the court, he did not deny the horrific deeds. Apart from spending more than 22 years behind bars, the man will be reportedly forbidden to any activity linked to bringing up children for 20 years.
The charges were leaked by a public page on Russian social media page Plohie Novosti (“Bad news”). The alleged list contains 248 rape charges and 358 charges of violent sexual acts against minors under 18 years old, as well as 23 cases of the same against kids under 14. He allegedly further committed more than 270 rapes and violent sexual abuses.
Wow! 22 years seems like a reward! 222 hardly seems adequate.
The revelations have surely shocked the local community, as the family is said to have actively taken part in local events, won some awards and appeared in the media. Even children’s services that visited the foster family several times a year, as Russian law requires, did not see anything suspicious. Now some of these officials are also reportedly facing a negligence probe.

Convicted pedophiles in Kazakhstan are facing forcible chemical castration after the government approved funding for 2,000 injections. The first request for the punishment has already been sanctioned.
An unnamed pedophile from the Turkestan region, convicted of child sex offences in April 2016, will undergo the injection under the supervision of the country’s Health Ministry, according to officials.
The man will be the first to receive the punishment under new legislation introduced at the start of this year, allowing chemical castration in cases where a court order is made in consultation with a medical authority.
President Nursultan Nazarbayev has allocated some €23,000 ($27,050) for thousands of the procedures to be carried out, but so far only one has been sought.
“At the moment there has been one request for chemical castration in accordance with a court ruling,” Deputy Health Minister Lyazat Aktayeva said. “Funds have been allocated for more than 2,000 injections.”
When the law was initially passed in 2016, Senator Byrganym Aitimova said that castration would be “temporary,” consisting of a “one-time injection” based on “the necessity of preventing the man from [committing] sexual violence”.
Chemical castration uses anaphrodisiac drugs to reduce the libido and sexual activity of the individual. It’s generally considered reversible when treatment is discontinued.
Kazakhstan will use ‘cyproterone acetate,’ a steroidal anti-androgen developed for fighting cancer, which in commonly used in some European countries for the process.
Child sex crimes carry prison sentences of up to 20 years in Kazakhstan. In 2015, the country’s state prosecutor noted a spike in child rapes with figures doubling to around 1,000 a year in the period between 2010 and 2014.
A number of countries including Russia, South Korea, Poland, Estonia and parts of the US use chemical castration as punishment for convicted sex offenders and pedophiles – in many other cases it is offered to sex offenders on a voluntary basis in return for reduced prison sentences.
So, if it has a temporary effect only, does that mean the prisoners are injected just before they are released? Otherwise, what would be the point. I wonder how long a single injection is good for - weeks, months? Hard to see how that is going to be a great deal of help.

A suspect linked to the slaying of Bulgarian investigative journalist Victoria Marinova has been arrested in Germany. Preliminary investigation shows that it was a “spontaneous” rape attack, according to Chief Prosecutor.
A man in his early 20s was arrested after DNA tests and other evidence linked him to the chilling crime, according to Bulgaria’s Interior Minister Mladen Marinov.
He identified the man as Severin Krasimov, who lived not far from the crime scene. The suspect managed to flee to Germany before being captured there, according to local media.
The perpetrator has been charged in absentia with rape and Bulgaria has already issued European arrest warrant. If proven guilty, the man could face anything from 25 years up to life imprisonment.
The body of the slain 30-year-old local TV reporter, Victoria Marinova, was found last week on a popular jogging route in the city of Ruse. The woman had sustained “brutal injuries” and the alleged attacker had consumed a large quantity of alcohol, the prosecutor revealed.
Bulgaria has been under pressure since the murder of Marinova, whose last report covered the theft of money from EU-funded projects. There has been speculation that the woman’s death was linked to her work, and the OSCE has called for this to be “quickly” determined.
Bulgarian law enforcement is investigating all possible theories, but has warned people not to jump to groundless conclusions. The attack in Ruse has been compared to the recent killings of Maltese and Slovak journalists, who were investigating secret government dealings and fraud.
Minor girl commits suicide after being raped in Rajasthan
Jaipur: In a shocking incident, a minor girl on Sunday committed suicide in Bharatpur by hanging herself after she was raped by a youth a day earlier, said police on Monday.
The police is on the lookout for the accused who is absconding, said additional SP Suresh Khinchi, adding that the minor girl was a student of class IX.
According to the complaint lodged by her family members, she went to the field to collect fodder for the cattle when a person named Lalaram Saini raped her.
Her screams invited people from around who helped save the girl, however, the accused have had a chance to flee as the complaint was not lodged immediately.
The incident was reported in Helena police station of the Bharatpur district.
Her family members did not report the matter of rape initially, however, soon after when they found her body hanging, they reported the matter to the police.
Police handed over her body to her family after the post mortem.
The family members said that the girl was in an extreme shock after the rape incident.

The 173-page report compiled by the independent inquiry into child sexual abuse dismissed claims of a conspiracy involving an “organised Westminster pedophile network,” but did reveal serious cover-ups by British institutions. The review was published on Tuesday following hearings over the past two years.
The investigation, which went into allegations dating as far back as the 1960s, concluded that “political parties showed themselves, even very recently, to be more concerned about political fallout than safeguarding.” It goes on to say that the honors system “prioritized reputation” over the welfare of victims of the nominated persons.
The findings may prove to be uncomfortable reading for PM Boris Johnson. As recently as March last year, Johnson told LBC radio that money was being "spaffed up the wall" on historical child abuse investigations.

The inquiry was also scathing of the police who “paid little regard to the welfare of sexually exploited children.”
Most notably, the inquiry highlighted how Thatcher — who was UK PM from 1979 to 1990 — and ex-Tory party chairman Norman Tebbit were aware of rumors in the 1980s about MP Peter Morrison having "a penchant for small boys," but did nothing about it.
The report also named Liberal MP Sir Cyril Smith as being known to have a “sexual interest in children,” but who escaped prosecution. The allegations "should have rung alarm bells in government,” it said.
As a result of the investigation Lord Steel announced on Tuesday afternoon his resignation from the Liberal Democrat Party and as a member of the House of Lords. During the inquiries’ proceedings he admitted that he was made aware of child abuse allegations against Smith, but failed to report them.

Earl Gary Chatterton was sentenced at Manukau District Court to four years and nine months in prison.
He admitted 26 charges of knowingly possessing and distributing child sexual abuse images, and one of blackmail.
Police say yesterday's sentencing was the end of a joint investigation with the Department of Internal Affairs that began in 2018.
The investigation revealed Chatterton distributed, copied and was in possession of more than 80 objectionable image files, and attempted to blackmail several people for financial gain.
Detective Senior Sergeant Eddie Sutherland said the offending was abhorrent. He said police, the Department of Internal Affairs and Customs worked closely together to identify and bring to justice those who seek to exploit defenseless and vulnerable children and adults.

The former footie starlet claims he was sexually abused by McCafferty and Bill Kelly – a former coach with the now defunct West Lothian team Uphall Saints - in the 1980s.
And Malcolm, who waived his right to anonymity, claims McCafferty and Kelly introduced him to Bennell at Blackpool, where he was raped by the convicted beast.
Speaking in an exclusive interview as part of a Channel 4 investigation into child abuse in Scottish football, Malcolm said: “I was told I was going to go to Blackpool in a few weeks’ time."
“I was introduced to Barry Bennell, a coach from Man City and he could really make my career go forward. But what Barry Bennell did to me at Blackpool… my only memory is that it must have been of such a horrific nature that it actually made me physically sick.
“I can remember being tearful asking Bill Kelly for some cleaning products to help clean the sick up at the end of the bedspread.”
Asked by Channel 4’s Alex Thomson if he’d been raped by Bennell, Malcolm said: “I can only assume I’d been raped. I can’t remember it happening.”
When asked if he took Malcolm to Blackpool with McCafferty to be abused by Bennell, Bill Kelly denied the claims, saying: “No. Not True.”
It comes amid claims of an alleged cross-border paedophile ring between Scottish and English football coaches.

Martin Henry, chairman of the review panel, told Channel 4 News that new information has emerged which suggests some notorious predators worked together to traffic young players. And he says the evidence has changed the course of the SFA’s investigation into child sexual abuse.

Kelly was jailed for sexually assaulting at least 12 players at the club over a period of 22 years.
