Orange Park, Fla. — A Clay County man has plead guilty in federal court for trying to sell child sex abuse photos on the internet in 2019, according to the Department of Justice.

Antony Eugene Woody
, 33, of Orange Park, is charged with advertising images depicting the sexual abuse of children for sale using the internet. Investigators say he faces a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years, and up to, 30 years in federal prison, and a potential life term of supervised release.

Court documents revealed that in Feb., 2019, federal investigators discovered that an online user named “imsoofreakyy” was using a social media in an attempt to sell pornographic images involving children. Simultaneously, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) received a Cybertip that the same user was advertising pictures of children being assaulted.

On March 22, 2019, the FBI and the CCSO executed a search warrant at Woody’s home. Investigators said the suspect admitted that he downloaded the images from the internet and then re-posted them for sale using a specific social media app.

A search of Woody’s cell phone revealed 33 videos and 40 images depicting the sexual abuse of children, according to the DOJ.

Woody allegedly admitted to investigators that he received at least $995 from customers who wished to buy the photos. Investigators say Woody claimed to have defrauded some of the customers, taking their money and never sending the images.

This is another case brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. For more information about Project Safe Childhood, please visit www.usdoj.gov/psc.

PADUCAH, Ky. – Acting United States Attorney Michael A. Bennett announced that a Federal Grand Jury returned an indictment on May 11, 2021, charging Kenneth Swartz, 63, of Eddyville, Kentucky with possession of child pornography and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

According to a Criminal Complaint filed on April 21, 2021, law enforcement officials opened an investigation into Swartz after receiving a complaint alleging that Swartz, a registered sex offender, attempted to photograph a minor while shopping at a local store on May 28, 2020.   The Eddyville Police Department confirmed the events after reviewing store security footage.  On May 29, 2020, a search warrant was executed on Swartz’ residence.  Law enforcement recovered a Savage Arms, Stevens model 94 shotgun, along with several cell phones.   On June 24, 2020, law enforcement became aware that Swartz possessed an additional cell phone which he kept hidden under a sink at a residence.  A second search warrant was obtained, and the additional phone was seized.

The Paducah Police Department subsequently conducted forensic imaging of the data on the cell phones.  Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) further analyzed the data and located over 200 images of child pornography.

Swartz has previous felony convictions in Kentucky for the offenses of sexual abuse, first degree, in Bath County in 1998, possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor in Fayette County in 2010, and failure to comply with sex offender registration in Lyon County in 2016.

If convicted at trial, and due to his prior conviction for sexual abuse, Swartz faces not less than 10 years and not more than 20 years in prison for possession of child pornography and not more than 10 years in prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm.  There is no parole in the federal system.  The case is next scheduled for arraignment on May 27, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. before Magistrate Judge Lanny King.

This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Raymond McGee and Leigh Ann Dycus.  The Eddyville Police Department with the assistance of the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, the Paducah Police Department, and Homeland Security Investigations conducted the investigation.

This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.  Led by the United States Attorneys' Offices and the Criminal Division's Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section, Project Safe Childhood marshals federal, state, and local resources to locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who sexually exploit children, and to identify and rescue victims.

Saratoga man raped child younger than 11 over several years
Michael Goot

SARATOGA — A town of Saratoga man was arrested on Thursday after police said he raped and sexually abused a girl younger than 11 over the course of several years.

Nathaniel J. Bradford
, 36, of 219 County Route 67, is facing seven felony counts. Police said Bradford raped the victim at two locations — one at his residence in Saratoga and at another location in Greenfield. Bradford knew the victim, according to a news release from the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

The alleged abuse came to light when the victim told a friend a portion of the situation, who then reported it to authorities, police said.

Bradford was charged with predatory sexual assault against a child and first-degree criminal sex act for the Greenfield incidents. He also faces charges of possessing a sexual performance of a child, first-degree rape, first-degree attempted rape, first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child and a misdemeanor of endangering the welfare of a child.

Bradford was arraigned in Galway Town Court and held without bail pending later court dates.

The investigation is continuing and additional charges are possible.

The top count of predatory sexual assault against a child carries a maximum sentence of up to life in prison.

Stillwater, Ok man sentenced to 10 years for child sexual abuse charge

May 14—A Stillwater man charged with child sexual abuse entered into a plea five days before his scheduled jury trial.

Clayton Rogers was charged in February of last year with child sexual abuse and has remained in the Payne County Jail since his arrest.

Bond was set in the amount of $75,000, and in June he asked for a bond reduction but was denied.

The victim alleged Rogers asked to have sex with the minor, and upon refusal, Rogers made a threat to the minor, who then complied, according to the original arrest affidavit.

The Saville Center conducted a physical examination of the minor and reported that the exam indicated a sexual act had occurred with the minor.

On May 5, Rogers entered into a guilty plea and waived his jury trial date that was set for May 10.

Judge Phillip Corley found him guilty, and sentenced him to a term of 10 years in the department of corrections, with the last seven years to be suspended upon good behavior.

So, 3 years incarceration for rape of a child! Seriously?

Rogers was also given credit for time served while he was awaiting trial in the Payne County Jail.

So, a little more than a year and a half! OMG!

Upon release, he will be supervised by DOC for the duration of the suspended sentence.

Rogers will have to register as a sex offender and isn't allowed to have contact with the victim. A protective order was made permanent.

He was remanded to the custody of the Sheriff's Office.

Assistant District Attorney Debra Vincent couldn't be reached for comment.

I would bet her comment would be unprintable anyway!

It is unknown if his plea was related to a plea agreement with the District Attorney's Office.

Brick, NJ man sentenced to 40 years in prison after admitting to
child sex abuse of newborn

BRICK - A township man was sentenced to 40 years in prison after he admitted to producing images of himself engaging in sexual acts with an infant and a newborn, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for New Jersey said.

Sebastian Attar, 36, had previously pleaded guilty in 2019 to two counts of sexual exploitation of children and one count of advertising child pornography, authorities said. He was sentenced in a Trenton federal court Wednesday by U.S. District Judge Peter G. Sheridan.

Around mid-2017, investigators explored an internet chat group named "Taboo Train 2.0," which involved the exchange of photos and videos of child sex abuse, authorities said.

Attar was later identified as a member of the group, operating under the username "Seb Seb," and he was found to have shared images of sexual acts between adults and young children on multiple occasions, according to the statement.

In March 2018, investigators executed a search warrant at Attar's home and seized his electronic devices, authorities said. In July 2018, a grand jury in the Northern District of Georgia returned a superseding indictment charging Attar and others with advertising child pornography

During a forensic review of the electronic media seized, authorities found graphic images of someone they later identified as Attar engaging in sexual acts with a baby under the age of one month, and another under the age of six months, authorities said.

As part of a plea agreement, the superseding indictment filed in Georgia against Attar was formally transferred to New Jersey so that Attar could plead guilty to that charge in conjunction with his guilty plea to the New Jersey charges.

In addition to the prison term, Judge Sheridan sentenced Attar to lifetime supervised release.

Acting U.S. Attorney David R. Hornig credited special agents of the FBI-Newark field office, under the direction of Special Agent George M. Crouch Jr. and special agents of the FBI-Atlanta field office, under the direction of Special Agent J.C. Hacker, with the investigation into the guilty pleas.

Child Sex Offender Sentenced To State Prison In Sonoma County

Posted Fri, May 14, 2021 at 7:54 am PT

Santa Rosa, CA – May 13, 2021 – Defendant Benjamin Meza-Perez, 41 years old of Petaluma, was sentenced today to serve 18 years in state prison by the Honorable Dana Simonds following pleas of "no contest" in January of this year to three felony counts of lewd acts with a minor under 14, and one felony count of dissuading a witness.

District Attorney Jill Ravitch stated, "This young victim showed incredible courage in discussing these incidents with law enforcement. The prison sentence is very appropriate."

The charges resulted from a September 2020 investigation by the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety. The investigation began after a friend of Jane Doe reported to Child Protective Services that she suspected sexual abuse of Jane Doe.

During the course of the investigation law enforcement learned that Meza-Perez had been sexually abusing Jane Doe since the age of 11, and that during several incidents Meza-Perez used force upon Jane Doe in order to accomplish the abuse. In a text message, Meza-Perez confessed to the abuse, apologizing to Jane Doe and asking for forgiveness. Meza-Perez went on to beg Jane Doe not to disclose the abuse to law enforcement, and to change any statements she had made about the sexual abuse.

The case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Leslie Butori, assisted by Victim Advocate Elizabeth Garcia. Detective Quinn of Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety headed the investigation.
