Iran’s strict new morality laws to enforce

‘culture of chastity and hijab,’ set to take effect

Iran is ramping up its terror against its citizens in an attempt to avert any possibility of a dissident uprising comparable to what was seen after the regime’s morality police murdered Mahsa Amini in 2022 after arresting her for not wearing her hijab properly. That triggered such a powerful wave of protest that talks circulated about the fall of the regime. With Israel also threatening the regime’s military capabilities, Iran is desperate to maintain its stranglehold upon its people.

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only what is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment except to their own husbands or fathers or husbands’ fathers, or their sons or their husbands’ sons, or their brothers or their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, or their women, or their slaves, or male attendants who lack desire, or children who know nothing of women’s nakedness. And do not let them stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And turn to Allah together, O believers, so that you may succeed. (Quran 24:31)

If a woman does not cover, she is fair game to be assaulted:

O prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their veils close around them. That will be better, so that they may be recognized and not molested. Allah is always forgiving, merciful. (Quran 33:59)

Iran’s new laws “also follow the recent arrest of a female student in Iran, who staged a solo protest against harassment by stripping down to her underwear outside her university.”

Iran imposes strict hijab laws; approves death penalty for offenders

The most extreme penalty, however, is reserved for those whose actions are deemed to constitute “corruption on Earth” under Article 286 of Iran’s Islamic Penal Code.

Women in Iran could face the death penalty or up to 15 years in prison under new mandatory morality laws set to come into effect this week.

The legislation, aimed at enforcing the “culture of chastity and hijab,” introduces severe penalties for individuals accused of “promoting nudity, indecency, unveiling, or improper dressing.” Repeat offenders may face fines of up to $15,700, flogging, or imprisonment ranging from five to 15 years. These laws were approved by Iranian authorities earlier this month.

Article 37 of the new legislation further stipulates that individuals accused of promoting or advocating indecency, unveiling, or “improper dressing” to foreign entities, including international media and civil society organisations, could be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison and fined as much as £12,500…

 

Islam is progressive. Sin is progressive. Abusing women by making them as invisible as possible is sin. Muslim men would be better off learning self-control which is a virtue.

Chechnya introduces separate male-female pharmacy services, closing beauty shops

A first pharmacy offering separate services for men and women has opened in the capital of Chechnya, the head of the Russian Muslim-majority republic announced on Saturday.

Ramzan Kadyrov visited the newly opened Darba Pharmacy in Grozny, accompanied by the Chechen health minister.

“I was pleased with what I saw. The pharmaceutical establishment meets all legal requirements, is equipped with the necessary medical supplies and drugs at an excellent level, and is capable of providing the population with high-quality medicinal products,” he stated.

Kadyrov also revealed plans to open another 15 pharmacies under the Darba network in Grozny in the near future.

Speaking on Saturday, the Chechen leader also called for the closure of beauty salons in the republic that promote “inappropriate behavior” and show body parts in their ads. He also highlighted concerns over health issues stemming from procedures performed at these establishments.

“Injections are given in the salons, then problems arise and people end up in hospitals. They post photos [on social media] where they show body parts that should not be shown. Salons that corrupt people must be closed,” he said, as quoted by TASS news agency.

The mentally ill gunman who shot and wounded two kindergarteners at a small California school Wednesday wrote that he was deploying a “countermeasure involving child executions” in response to “America’s involvement with genocide and oppression of Palestinians,” in a twisted note he left behind.

The shooter who turned the gun on himself after opening fire in the playground of the Feather River School of Seventh-Day Adventists was identified Thursday as Glenn Litton, a 56-year-old homeless man who was sprung from jail just two days before the shooting, according to police.

Litton, who was pronounced dead at the Oroville school, had a long history of mental health issues, alarming criminal behavior, and past stints in prison, Butte County officials said at a press conference Thursday.

Cops believe his deranged writings — in which he called himself a lieutenant of “the international alliance” — stemmed from his compromised mental state.

“Countermeasure involving child executions has now been imposed at the Seventh Day Adventist school in CA, U.S. by the international alliance,” he wrote in the disturbing note recovered by investigators.

“I, Lieutenant Glenn Litton of the alliance carried out countermeasure in necessitated response to America’s involvement with genocide and oppression of Palestinians along with attacks towards Yemen.”

Butte County Sheriff Kory Honea characterized those writings as delusions coming from his mental illness, saying he “pulled information from various sources, and it all came together in his mind to create a reality that is false.”

I'll bet most of those sources were the legacy media and their far-left, antisemitic madness. 

Litton – who attended a separate Seventh Day Adventist school when he was young – critically wounded two boys, 5 and 6, who attended the school of just 35 students.

Days before the attack, the shooter had scheduled a meeting with the Feather River School’s principal and arrived for the meeting Wednesday using a false name under the pretense of enrolling his grandson in the school.

But he had no grandson, police noted, and shortly after the meeting he stormed into the school’s playground and opened fire on students as they returned to class….

Daughter of Israeli-American captives slams Biden, world leaders for not demanding the release of the hostages “or else.”

The daughter of two slain hostages slammed President Joe Biden and other world leaders, saying that president-elect Donald Trump’s recent tweet threatening the Hamas terror group should have served as an example for the international community.

“All world leaders should have done on October 8, 2023, what Trump did in his tweet,” Iris Weinstein Haggai told the Times of Israel, referencing the president-elect’s pledge that there would be “hell to pay” for Hamas if they do not release the hostages in the near future.

Weinstein Haggai’s parents, Gadi and Judi, held both Israel and American citizenship. The couple were brutally murdered in their Kibbutz Nir Oz home during the October 7th terror onslaught, and their bodies were kidnapped to the Gaza Strip.

“Our situation would have been a lot different. We would have saved many lives — not only Israelis, not only hostages, but also Palestinians — if only world leaders took a stand for the unconditional release of all these hostages,” she told TOI.

She said that her criticism “definitely” applies to Biden, adding that while she appreciated his support for Israel in the immediate aftermath of the massacres, his calls for Hamas to release the hostages were not forceful enough.

“The demand for them to be released ‘or else,’ is what I’m looking for,” Weinstein Haggai said.

Biden and other world leaders’ failure to threaten serious consequences against Hamas for continuing to hold the hostages had drawn out the war and destruction in the Strip, she said.

“When these Hamas terrorists… see that world leaders don’t pressure them… it sends a message to them that they can execute six beautiful young people and there are no consequences, that they can release these propaganda videos and nobody’s going to do anything,” Weinstein Haggai continued.

It’s “never too late” for world leaders to adopt Trump’s stance towards Hamas, she said.

But it's not part of the acceptable narrative.

enslaving Yazidi after joining ISIS in Syria

THE HAGUE, Netherlands — A Dutch court Wednesday sentenced a woman to 10 years in prison for keeping a woman from the Yazidi minority as a slave after joining the Islamic State group in Syria.

The court in The Hague convicted the 33-year-old from Hengelo in eastern Netherlands, identified as Hasna A, for “enslavement, membership of a terrorist organization, promoting terrorist crimes, and endangering her young son.”

She traveled to Syria in 2015 with her son, aged four at the time, the court said. She married an IS fighter and had children with him.

Between May to October 2015, she lived with another IS fighter, who kept a Yazidi woman as a slave.

Hasna A. made the Yazidi woman do household chores for her and look after her son, the court ruled….

According to public broadcaster NOS, Hasna A was repatriated in November 2022 to the Netherlands from a Syrian prison camp with 11 other Dutch women and their 28 children….

They should have been required to denounce Islam.

Father, stepmother sentenced to life in prison

for killing of 10-year-old Sara Sharif

Dec. 17 (UPI) -- The father and stepmother of 10-year-old Sara Sharif were sentenced to life in prison in Britain on Tuesday after they were found guilty of her murder.

Sara's father, 43-year-old Urfan Sharif must serve at least 40 years of his life sentence, while his wife, Beinash Batool, 30, is required to serve a minimum term of 33 years.

Urfan's brother, 29-year-old Faisal Malik was found not guilty of murder, but received a 16-year sentence for allowing the death of a child.

They were found guilty last week in connection with the death of Sara, who was found with "multiple and extensive injuries" on her body including burns, bruises, and human bight marks along with 25 fractures, including 11 to her spine in a post-mortem review.

Justice John Cavanagh called the girl's abuse "torture" and condemned the three defendants for not showing "a shred of remorse," adding it was "nothing short of gruesome.

The girl's mother, Olga Domin, joined a court hearing remotely as her ex-husband got sentenced to prison for life for killing their daughter.

"Sara was always smiling. She had her own unique character," Domin said Tuesday in her impact statement virtually from her home in Poland. "The only thing I had left to give to my daughter was to give her a beautiful Catholic funeral that she deserves."

"She is now an angel who looks down on us from heaven, she is no longer experiencing violence," Domin added. "To this day, I can't understand how someone can be such a sadist to a child."

Prosecutor Emyln Jones stated the case "bristles with aggravating features" along with the fact the girl suffered an "unimaginable level of pain" at the hands of her father, uncle and stepmother.

She was found dead at the family home in Surrey in a bunk bed on Aug. 10, 2023, after the three fled to Pakistan two days earlier with their other children, where Sharif notified police. Officials later discovered a handwritten "confession" note near her fully clothed body.

Sharif wrote that he beat his daughter "too much" for being "naughty," adding how he "lost it."

"I swear to God that my intention was not to kill her," he said in part.

This is called Islamic hysteria! Muslims are particularly vulnerable to hysteria due to a lack of self-control.

Jones said the case involved a "gross breach of trust" because the deceased was the defendant's own small child.

"In their care, she suffered this violence in her own home where she ought to have been entitled to feel safe and loved and cared for," the prosecution told the British court.

Her death sparked nationwide conversations in Britain about the proper protection and care of children with child protection advocates calling for "substantial" reform.

Sara was withdrawn from school in April 2023 after teachers alerted child protective services about bruises on the 10-year-old's face.

The Surrey County Council, the authority responsible for the area of southern England where Sara was killed in Woking, previously announced an independent statutory investigation into what went wrong in Sara's case looking at all professionals who had contact with the Sharif family.

Permission to remove children from class for homeschooling should never be granted where abuse concerns have been flagged, England's children's commissioner for England said Thursday.

MP speaks out AGAINST a proposed ban on first cousins being able to

marry in Britain as he claims intermarriage can ‘help build family bonds'

An independent MP today spoke out against a proposed ban on first cousins being able to marry in Britain.

Iqbal Mohamed, MP for Dewsbury and Batley, told the House of Commons that many people view family intermarriage as ‘very positive’.

He said it was seen as something that could help ‘build family bonds’ and put families on a more secure financial foothold’.

Mr Mohamed admitted there were ‘health risks’ for the children of such marriages. But he said a ‘more positive approach’ would be to ‘facilitate advanced genetic test screening’ for couples wishing to marry.

He also called for ‘education programmes’ to be targeted at those communities where family intermarriage is most common, as he told MPs to reject an outright ban.

Mr Mohamed spoke out against Tory MP Richard Holden’s efforts to bring in new legislation to prohibit the marriage of first cousins.

The former Conservative Party chairman this afternoon introduced his Marriage (Prohibited Degrees of Relationship) Bill to the Commons via a ten-minute rule motion….
