This is one of the reasons why Russia doesn't allow foreign countries to adopt Russian kids. If it were up to me, gays would not be allowed to adopt children anywhere. There aren't a lot of stories like this, but there are enough and they are very disturbing. Social services need to investigate gays who foster or adopt kids much more rigorously than they do.
Georgia couple convicted of sexually abusing
their adopted boys in ‘house of horrors’
sentenced to 100 years in prison
The investigation dates back to 2022, when police received a tip about suspected ‘homemade child sexual abuse material’
A gay Georgia couple will spend the rest of their lives in prison after sexually abusing two young boys they adopted.
William and Zachary Zulock of Walton County were sentenced to 100 years in prison without parole on Thursday after they both pled guilty to several charges related to sexually assaulting their adopted children.
“Those involved with the investigation and prosecution of this case will never forget what they had to see and hear in this case,” District Attorney Randy McGinley said in a statement. “These two Defendants truly created a house of horrors and put their extremely dark desires above everything and everyone else.”
“However, the depth of the Defendants’ depravity, which is as deep as it gets, is not greater than the resolve of those that fought for justice and the strength of the victims in this case,” he added. “The resolve I have seen from these two young victims over the last two years is truly inspiring.”
The investigation began in July 2022, when police received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about suspected “homemade child sexual abuse material,” McGinley said in his statement. This led investigators to Hunter Lawless, a man who admitted to viewing this material and claimed he received it from Zachary, according to McGinley.
The couple sent text messages and made posts about the abuse. Luis Vizcarro-Sanchez was one of the people receiving messages from Zachary about the abuse, McGinley said. He later pleaded guilty to Pandering for a Person Under 18.
“This resolution will help the victims continue their process of healing,” McGinley said. “William and Zachary Zulock will now spend 100 years in prison without parole. This all but guarantees that the victims will not have to worry as they grow older about their abusers being free.”
I like that. Too often I see pedophiles get out of prison while their victims are still children. That should never happen in my book.
William pleaded guilty to six counts of aggravated sodomy; three counts of aggravated child molestation; two counts of incest; and two counts of sexual exploitation of children.
Zachary pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated sodomy; three counters of aggravated child molestation; two counts of sodomy; three counts of sexual exploitation of children; and two counts of pandering for a person under 18.
He pleaded not guilty to two counts of incest, but a judge found him guilty on those charges after a brief bench trial earlier this year.
For more than 10 years now I have warned people not to use male babysitters for their kids. There are way too many stories like this on this blog.
Illinois man sentenced to 30 years for sexually abusing
four child relatives for nearly two decades
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A North Aurora man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison, after pleading guilty to sexually abusing and sexually assaulting four child relatives he was babysitting over the course of nearly two decades.
Jaime Reyes, 70, pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a child and one count of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child on Nov. 19, on the same day he was set to go on trial, according to the Kendall County State's Attorney's office.
As part of a negotiated plea deal, he was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Prosecutors said, from the late 1990s until 2017, he sexually abused four separate victims. Reyes was the victims' uncle and occasional babysitter.
Kendall County Sheriff's officials said they began investigating in October 2017, after one of the victims came forward about the abuse. Reyes was charged in February 2022, after an extensive investigation.
Wow! It took 5 years to investigate? How many kids were abused in that time frame? It seems there was no hurry at the Sheriff's office.
Prosecutors said the abuse started when the victims were between 5 and 8 years old, when he would isolate the victims to take advantage of them until they reached the age of puberty.
"There is no doubt that the world is a safer place with Reyes being in custody. For years, he took advantage of the trust that his family members had in him to supervise and take care of their young children," Kendall County State's Attorney Eric Weis said in a statement. "He preyed on those who were sometimes too young to even understand what was happening. He is a true predator. My hope is that the victims have some comfort in knowing that Reyes will remain in custody forever. I also want to commend the bravery of the victims for coming forward so that this dangerous person can never do this again to anyone."
Reyes was being held at the Big Muddy Correctional Center, a medium security prison in southern Illinois.
