Trenton man sentenced to life in prison for ‘extensive’ child sexual abuse

A jury has convicted a Trenton, Georgia, man of child sexual abuse, and is sentenced to consecutive life sentences in prison, according to the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit District Attorney.
On April 29, Judge Chris Arnt sentenced Randall Dakota Wallin, 36, to serve consecutive life sentences in prison.
Following a three-day trial, a Dade County jury found Wallin guilty of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery and two counts of child molestation.
It comes after an investigation by the Dade County Sheriff’s Office and Department of Family and Children’s Services.
Investigators said multiple children were living in “deplorable conditions” in a home on Casey Road. One of the children told investigators about sexual abuse by Wallin, and authorities removed all minors from the home.
The district attorney said that when Wallin was confronted with allegations of abuse, he wanted to know who called the police; he never asked which child was abused or what happened to them.
One victim disclosed extensive sexual abuse when she was 13 years old, according to the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit District Attorney.
Wallin would not be eligible for parole until he has served 60 years.

The conviction and imposition of consecutive life sentences ensures that Wallın will never again have the opportunity to harm a child. FORT MYERS, Fla. — A Southwest Florida coach has been sentenced to decades in prison for child sexual abuse crimes.
Dagoberto Miguel Pena, 37, of Punta Gorda, was sentenced to 60 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to charges including producing and possessing images of child sexual abuse.
According to federal prosecutors, Pena used and persuaded minors to engage in sexually explicit conduct and recorded the abuse.
The investigation began in 2025 after a parent reported inappropriate communication between Pena and a minor. Authorities later found messages, images and videos involving multiple victims on his devices.
Pena was also sentenced to a lifetime of supervised release and must register as a sex offender.
