Freeport man faces over 50 child sex abuse material felonies
WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – A Freeport man was charged on Wednesday with more than 50 felonies related to child sexual abuse material.
According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, shortly before 7 a.m., investigators executed a search warrant at the home of Troy Lee, 46, located off of Shoreline Drive.
Deputies reported that Lee was not at his home when the warrant was executed, but was later located at his workplace and taken into custody.

It was reported that they began an investigation in March, after they received multiple tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children indicating that an internet user was downloading child sexual abuse material.
Deputies reported that Lee was identified as the individual associated with the tips.
During Wednesday’s search, investigators reported finding multiple pairs of girls’ underwear in Lee’s possession. Currently, WCSO cannot rule out the possibility that Lee may have had contact with minor children.
Lee was charged with 29 counts of transmission of child sexual abuse material, 29 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material, and six counts of using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony.
WCSO has asked anyone with information about this case to contact them at 850-892-8111.
