AKRON, Ohio - A judge is northeast Ohio has sentenced a man and woman to life in prison for sexually abusing a 4-year-old girl and 7-year-old boy.
Prosecutors say 33-year-old Jacob Singleton and 30-year-old Cecilia Lower drugged the girl with a stolen antidepressant and photographed the abuse. Prosecutors said photos of the abuse of the boy were shared by the couple on Facebook.
They pleaded guilty to rape and other sex charges earlier this month in Akron. Both will be eligible for parole after serving 25 years.
Court records show the crimes occurred last July.
A prosecutor called the abuse "truly sickening."

"How could that go on where a teacher doesn't know?" junior Kelsie Dukes wondered aloud.
The suspect, Parkside student Jocori Marece Scarborough, 17, of Delmar, Md., is accused of making sexual advances toward the girl then pulling her down a hallway, according to charging documents. He is being charged as an adult.
The victim said "no" multiple times before she was raped, the documents state. She reported the incident to school administrators. The Daily Times and USA TODAY do not identify sexual assault victims.
IDAHO FALLS, Idaho - An Idaho Falls man was arrested on several sex charges.
Paul Castro IV was arrested on a warrant for lewd conduct with a child under 16 and two counts of sexual abuse of a child.
Idaho Falls police said Castro's arrest stems from an investigation that began in April allegedly regarding inappropriate contact with an 11-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy on multiple occasions over the last two years.
BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma - A 32 year old woman from Bartlesville was arrested for child sex abuse and making and distributing child pornography.
Sara Garoutte is accused of sexually abusing a young relative and emailing pictures of explicit sex acts involving a 3 or 4 year old boy to her boyfriend who is also being investigated.
She has been charged with distribution of child pornography, manufacturing of child pornography and sexual abuse of a child under 12.
The little boy and a sibling have been placed in protective custody.
