Brown Co. Man Arrested for Child Sex Crime

BROWN COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A Brown County man accused of sexually abusing a child multiple times over the course of five years has been arrested.

Richard Densel Leach, Jr., was taken into custody on Christmas and charged with Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child.

Court documents say Leach sexually assaulted a child at least seven times from September of 2009 through August of 2014.  

The child was under the age of 14 when the sexual abuse began, according to the documents. 

Leach was released from the Brown County Jail after posting a $50,000 bond two days after his arrest.

Grand Rivers man charged in connection to
child sexual abuse

MARSHALL COUNTY, KY -
A Grand Rivers man was arrested on Christmas day in connection to child sexual assault.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says around 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, the mother of a child called saying her child had been sexually abused.

The mother said the child had been in the care of 18-year-old John Lewis and that he had touched the child inappropriately with his hands and mouth.

Lewis also allegedly asked the child to use his mouth on him. The child was under the age of 12.

Lewis was arrested and charged with 1st degree sodomy.

He admitted to the allegations during an interview with deputies.

Lewis was taken to the Marshall County Detention Center.

Please folks, be extremely reluctant to leave your children with male babysitters of any age. It's not worth the risk.

Huntsville police arrest man for child sex abuse

Huntsville police arrested a man on Christmas Day on charges that he sexually abused a child.

Mathina Wallace, 59, was booked into the Madison County Metro Jail on two counts of sexual abuse of a child under 12, according to jail records.

Police have not released any other details about Wallace's arrest.

Jail records listed Wallace's bond at $3,500.





Ex-Fayetteville basketball coach indicted on
child sex abuse charges; bond at $17.7M

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – A Fayetteville ex-basketball coach who is facing at least 70 sex abuse charges involving teen boys has now been indicted by a Cumberland County grand jury, documents show.

A grand jury has indicted Rodney Scott, 50, on two felony charges of indecent liberties with a child, according to documents obtained from the Cumberland County Magistrate’s Office.

According to an arrest warrant, the reported abuse occurred May 1, 2006.

Seven people have come forward accusing the former AAU basketball coach of sexual abuse.

Scott’s bond is now more than $17.7 million.

Youth soccer coach faces child sex abuse charges
Eris Murray, 55, coached alleged victim with Maryland City Mustangs, police say

MARYLAND CITY, Md. —
A youth soccer coach was arrested on charges he sexually abused one of his former players, Anne Arundel County police said.

Eris Murray, 55, of the 1700 block of Wolcott Way in Hanover, is charged with two counts of second-degree sexual offense, two counts of a third-degree sexual offense, two counts of a fourth-degree sexual offense, sexual abuse of a minor, second-degree child abuse, two counts of second-degree assault and two counts of sodomy.

Police said the Department of Social Services in October received a report of a sexual child abuse. The juvenile victim reported being sexually abused on two occasions approximately four to eight years ago, police said.

The victim identified Murray as their abuser. Police said that the victim indicated the suspect was their youth league soccer coach for the Maryland City Mustangs during the time of the abuse.

Murray turned himself in Dec. 22 to Anne Arundel County police.

Police said are urging any other victims or anyone with information on this incident to contact the Anne Arundel County Child Abuse Unit at 410-222-4733.

East Texas man charged with child sex abuse

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -
Smith County Sheriff Larry Smith says on Dec. 16 deputies took a report regarding a sexual assault of a child. 

The suspect was identified as Mark James Nunley, 31 of Lindale.

According to officials, during a forensic interview, the child described being sexually abused repeatedly by Nunley for an extended period of time.

Sheriff's officials say an adult witness provided a statement claiming to have caught Nunley in the act of abusing the child. 

A statement from the Smith County Sheriff's office continues:

After an execution of a search warrant for potential evidence, and a review of the case, Detective Jennifer Stockwell prepared a warrant affidavit for the arrest of Mark James Nunley.

Mark James Nunley was arrested on December 22, 2016, after surrendering himself to the Smith County Jail on the charge of Sexual abuse of a Child Continuous: Victim Under 14 (1st Degree Felony), issued by 114th District Court Judge Christi Kennedy. Surety Bond was set at $350,000 by Judge Kennedy.

Nunley has made bond and been released from the Smith County Jail.
