‘Incest pervert paid Alabama parent and child
to have sex with each other so he could watch’
A defense contractor paid a parent and their grown-up child to have sex with one another so he could watch, it is claimed. Grady Gaston III, 59, is said to have ‘deceived and coerced’ the family members into sex in Athens, Alabama, and was arrested over the alleged offenses on Wednesday.
Limestone County Sheriff’s spokesman Steven Young said that Gaston had paid a person who was over the age of consent to have sex with their parent. He did not share that child’s age, or the gender of the family members who had sex with one another. It is also unclear whether those relations will also face charges.
He added: ‘Even though Gaston didn’t have sex with a relative, he subjected two immediate family members to have sexual relations with each other and engaged with them…with somebody facilitating two direct family members, that are of age, but you’re still facilitating direct incest, so that does constitute an incest charge.
‘It is like he was the getaway driver of a bank robbery. He didn’t rob the bank, but played a major role in the crime.’
Young did not say how the relatives knew Gaston, their ages, or what the deception involved but did say his alleged abuse resulted in them being forced into ‘sexual servitude.’
Gaston’s alleged crimes began to be exposed in May after a drugs bust at a property that he owned. The suspect claimed he’d been renting it out to ‘sketchy characters’ and conceded there were ‘some things’ of interest to police inside.
Decatur Daily reports that investigators then began probing the incest allegations against Gaston, and also discovered 60 child sex abuse images on an electronic device. Young added: ‘There likely will be more charges in this case. The investigation is still ongoing. Things were confiscated in this case that investigators are still working with.’
Gaston, who worked on behalf of the US Department of Defense was denied bail at a court hearing Thursday.

Fulton, Mo, man allegedly tied up, sexually abused, hit young child
by Megan Smaltz, KRCGFULTON, Mo. (KRCG) – 27-year-old Fulton man is accused of tying up a child then sexually assaulting them and becoming physically violent if the child didn't comply.
The document details an instance where Brandon Taylor allegedly tied up the child with zip locks then put a cloth in their mouth before sexually assaulting the child.
The document says the abuse continued for approximately four years. If the child didn't comply, the document says Taylor would smack the child or threaten further violence.
When law enforcement was initially tipped off about the abuse, Taylor fled. The document says the Fulton Police Department spent 10 months trying to locate Taylor who was arrested on Thursday.
Taylor attempted to escape after being arrested. According to the document, Taylor was taken to the hospital after he made comments about having a sore throat, diarrhea, and temperature when he got to the jail.
While at the hospital, the document said Taylor "locked himself in the bathroom and refused to come out." He eventually unlocked the door and came out of the bathroom. Then after obtaining paperwork at the hospital, Taylor attempted to escape by "pushing past law enforcement and running."
Well, at least he's not acting guilty, Pfft!
Taylor was subsequently detained and taken into custody.
Taylor is facing multiple felony charges including:

Sex Abuse, Child Porn Charges Filed Against Ex-Deputy In Wilmette, Ill
Nicknamed "Po-Po," the former Cook County sheriff's deputy would offer drugs and alcohol to local high school students
By Jonah Meadows, Patch Staff
John P. Pradun, 62, of Wilmette, faces more than a dozen felony charges in connection with an investigation of sexual abuse of local high school students. (Cook County Sheriff's Office)
John Pradun, 62, of the 100 block of Millbrook Lane, was arrested Friday morning at his home and charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, indecent solicitation, grooming and exhibiting harmful materials in connection with a series of incidents earlier this month, according to Wilmette police and Cook County prosecutors, who also charged him with 15 counts of possession of child pornography.
Police said the investigation began Tuesday when a parent of a student at a local high school overheard a discussion among teens of another student's account of abuse by an adult. Investigators interviewed multiple people involved on Wednesday and Thursday and produced enough evidence for a judge to sign off an arrest warrant for Pradun and a search warrant for his house and electronic devices.
Pradun, a retired sergeant with the Cook County Sheriff's Office, invoked his right to remain silent following his arrest, authorities said. As of Monday afternoon, he was being held at Cook County Jail and could not be reached for comment.
At a bond hearing Saturday, prosecutors said Pradun would allow minors to frequently party at his house. Pradun would offer children Xanax, alcohol, marijuana and nicotine, according to prosecutors, and police said they found narcotics at his house that he did not have a prescription for.
Prosecutors said it was common knowledge among local high school students who attended parties at his house that Pradun was an ex-cop — everyone called him by the nickname "Po-Po."
After one of the parties at his house earlier this month, Pradun was giving three girls a ride, prosecutors said. While in the car, they allege he showed the girls a nude photo of himself with his hand holding his genitals. After dropping off two of the girls, he pulled over and confronted the girl who was left alone in the car, prosecutors said.
According to prosecutors, Pradun asked if he could "trust" her before abusing her. Once she was dropped off at home, she immediately told her friends what had just happened.
As Wilmette police began investigating, another family came forward to report their daughter had also been sexually assaulted by Pradun this month, authorities said.
Prosecutors said Pradun grabbed another girl under 16 while giving her a ride to a party at his house. And in another incident, he asked the girl "if she trusted him" before grabbing her; prosecutors said the girl told Pradun to stop, later confiding in friends about what had happened.
After police learned about the circumstances of the incidents and the parties at Pradun's house, they showed up at his house Friday morning to arrest him and execute several search warrants, seizing a cellphone, laptop and hard drives, according to police and prosecutors.
In a search of a flash drive at Pradun's house, investigators found more than 30 images of the sexual abuse of children under the age of 10, according to prosecutors.
Wilmette police asked anyone with additional information about possible crimes Pradun has committed to contact the lead detective in the case, Sgt. Solvei Gehrken, at 847-853-7546.
According to a Cook County Sheriff's Office spokesperson, Pradun retired in November 2019 after 27 years working for the sheriff's police.
Pradun was ordered held at Cook County Jail in lieu of the $15,000 cash portion of his bond, which is combined across three cases comprising the 20 felony charges he faces. His next court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon in Skokie.

Boone, NC, man convicted of child porn
charges in federal court
Staff Report editor@wataugademocrat.com
CHARLOTTE — After a two-day trial, a 60-year-old Boone man was convicted of child pornography charges by a federal jury in Charlotte on July 17, according to Andrew Murray, U.S. attorney for the Western District of North Carolina.
William Jon Patric Ebert, 60, of Boone, was convicted of using a minor to produce child pornography photographs of the minor and possession of those photographs. He was found not guilty of transporting a minor with intent to engage in sexual criminal activity.
Ebert is currently in federal custody, according to the U.S. attorney's office. A sentencing date had not been set as of July 20. U.S. District Judge Frank D. Whitney presided over the trial.
According to filed court documents and evidence presented at trial, Ebert sexually abused a minor for more than six years, the U.S. attorney's office stated. The sexual abuse took place in Ohio and in North Carolina. Evidence presented at trial established that Ebert also used the minor to produce child pornography photographs of the minor, and that he stored those photographs on his computer and other devices he owned.
On Sept. 22, 2016, law enforcement officials executed a search warrant at Ebert’s residence in Boone and seized several devices and computers. A forensic analysis of Ebert’s hard drive revealed that it contained sexually explicit images of the minor victim, according to the U.S. attorney's office.
The production of child pornography charge carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years and a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison. The possession of child pornography charge carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. Both charges carry a maximum fine of $250,000.
In making the announcement, Murray thanked the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the Avon Police Department in Ohio for their investigation of this case. Assistant United States Attorneys Kimlani Ford and Eric Lindahl are prosecuting the case for the United States.
Grand Ledge, Mi, coach traded booze for child porn
Kyle Kaminki
Lansing City Pulse
MONDAY, July 20 — Newly released court records allege that a former high school soccer coach and executive director of the Capital Area Soccer League allegedly coaxed a 15-year-old boy from Grand Ledge into sending him sexually explicit pictures in exchange for booze.
Scott Michael Dane, 38, of Lansing, was charged this month in Eaton County’s 56th Circuit Court with two counts of child sexually abusive activity, felonies that could put him behind bars for more than 40 years, if convicted. Records show he also faces separate 60- and 90-day misdemeanor charges of giving alcohol to and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The Eaton County Prosecutor’s Office released today a copy of a warrant request filed in June 2019 to seize computers, cell phones and other electronics from his Walnut Street home. It outlined accusations against Dane that date back more than a year before his arrest this month.
Within the warrant request, Michigan State Police Detective Sgt. Craig Carberry said a tip was received last year that Scott offered alcohol to a teenage boy twice in exchange for sexual photos on Snapchat. The boy obliged twice, records state.
Several items are redacted in the June 2019 report, but it details how Dane was head varsity soccer coach at Grand Ledge High School at the time. The boy’s phone was turned over and searched by authorities on June 7, 2019, and he was formally interviewed on June 18, 2019.
During the interview, the boy told authorities that Dane made a statement that “they are not true friends until you see each other’s penis,” reports state. He also recounted a time that Dane took the boy to a Lansing Ignite game in downtown Lansing on an unnamed rainy Saturday in 2019.
The two drank a Yeti cup filled with beer and a water bottle filled with tequila on the way to the game, records state. Dane allegedly told the boy he could get more alcohol if he sent sexual pictures and drove him home. The boy sent his first and only picture that night, records state.
On at least one occasion, Dane also allegedly bought a six-pack of beer and a bottle of flavored vodka for the teenage boy, which was designed to stay in Dane’s car for when the two were together and wanted to have a few drinks, records state.
Cops continued to surveil Dane at his home into late June 2019, records state. The warrant, approved at the end of the month, sought to comb through his electronic records for evidence.

Ohio jury finds Timothy Blue guilty of
all 7 child sex offenses
By Nancy MolnarThe Times-Reporter
NEW PHILADELPHIA A 41-year-old man is facing a possible life sentence after being convicted of rape and other sex offenses against a girl beginning at age 7.
This afternoon, a Tuscarawas County Common Pleas Court jury found Timothy M. Blue guilty of rape, sexual battery, gross sexual imposition, and two counts each of pandering obscenity involving a minor and pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor.
The crimes occurred between July 2011 and Jan. 13, 2019.
Judge Edward O’Farrell said he expects to sentence Blue early next week. Assistant county prosecutor Scott Deedrick said the evidence included photos, videos and DNA on objects.
He said the victim did not disclose the abuse before 2019 because Blue had “made her into the victim that he wanted.” Deedrick said she came forward after she grew older and more independent, and after the situation became scarier.
“This child started getting tied up, started getting hit,”
Deedrick said.
Public defender Mark Perlaky said the charges were false and were made as part of a “bitter custody situation” between the complainant’s mother and Blue.
He said the pornographic images claimed to belong to Blue actually were on the phone of his accuser.
Perlaky said the girl has had mental health problems, and did not disclose abuse allegations to counselors.
Most sexually abused teens have mental health and substance abuse problems.
He said investigations by a court-appointed guardian ad litem found no reason to deny Blue visits with the girl. Blue has the right to appeal the guilty verdicts.
The trial started July 13 with jury selection and ended Friday with closing arguments.
