Excellent report from France24 on temporary marriages in Kerala State, India. Watch the video at the following link.

The report reveals the thousands of children born to young girls who are quickly divorced only to find themselves pregnant. The story follows one girl whose marriage was arranged by the orphanage in which she lived. She was not given any choice in the matter. She was divorced within a month.
This is similar to the practice in Egypt of parents prostituting their little girls by having them marry Islamic adult men for a night, a weekend, or a month or two, then divorce.
As in Egypt, the practice in Kerala is sanctioned by Islam.
