2 Boys Charged After Sex Act Filmed Without Girl's Knowledge

Incident occurred in North Grenville, Ontario, south of Ottawa
CBC News
Old Oxford Schoolhouse, North Grenville, Ontario
Two boys, 14 and 16 years old, are charged with voyeurism and making child pornography after a sex act between one of the boys and a 14-year-old girl was filmed without her knowledge, OPP say.

OPP received a call on Oct. 9 about a 16-year-old boy showing a video of a sex act between the two 14-year-olds.

The two boys were in on it, OPP allege.

The boys, both from North Grenville, Ont., southwest of Ottawa, have been charged with voyeurism and making child pornography.

The prevalence and tolerance of pornography in today's society probably means that the boys had no idea they were breaking the law. They certainly knew what they were doing was immoral, but I'm not convinced they knew it was illegal. Nevertheless, they have to be made an example of; if found guilty the judge has to send a message to others who will surely be tempted to do the same.

They cannot be named under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

North Grenville, ON
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Grenville County OPP at 1-888-310-1122, the Kemptville detachment at 613-258-3441, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-(TIPS) 8477.
