PORTLAND, Oregon -- Police arrested a man after a lengthy investigation into reports of child sex abuse involving a worker at a Northeast Portland Boys & Girls Club.
Riante Ramon Badon, 26, was indicted by a Multnomah County grand jury on numerous charges that include third-degree rape and sex abuse, and seven counts of luring a minor.
The investigation began in August, 2014 when detectives looked into a report of possibly inappropriate contact between Badon and a female teen, police said.
Badon was fired by the non-profit at 5250 N.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., for "club policy violations," police said. The Boys & Girls Club cooperated with investigators.
Detectives eventually determined that Badon has allegedly abused three girls. Police said the sensitive nature of the investigation does not allow them to release any other details.
