Justice for Hareem Fatima: 3-year-old raped and killed in Kohat

Social media is trending with #JusticeForHareem as netizens demand justice for Hareem Fatima, a three-year-old minor girl raped and killed in Kohat District of Khyber Pakthunkhwa.

According to the details, the three-year-old Hareem Fatima was a resident of Khattak Colony and went outside to play with other children but never returned home. The minor girl’s family along with other locals began to search for the child and discovered her body near a nullah (ravine, or dry river bed) the next day.

The police were informed about the incident and the body of the minor girl was sent for autopsy which confirmed that Hareem had been raped before murdered. A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered by the child’s father against unidentified individuals and investigation is underway.

 

The incident caused widespread panic among the locals who demanded immediate arrest of the culprits. Furthermore, the matter went viral on social media sparking outrage among netizens who started trending the hashtag #JusticeForHareem and #JusticeForHareemFatima to demand justice for Hareem Fatima, the three-year-old minor girl raped and killed in Kohat.

Society can live with kufr but not with injustice.

Kufr means disbelief or ingratitude. In this particular, it might mean that the perpetrator has no fear of God, or that he has no appreciation for God's blessings, like Hareem.

KHAIRPUR: Twitter is trending with #JusticeForMominaLarik with people demanding justice for Momina Larik, a seven-year-old was raped and brutally murdered in Pir Jo Goth village in Khairpur District.

This is not the first case of child abuse nor it will be the last, our society is full of savages who don’t see age or gender. They are predators just waiting for their prey, whoever it may be.

The story of Momina Larik is no different than any other little angel who has been a victim of sexual assault. The seven-year-old minor girl was abducted, raped and brutally murdered near Pir Jo Goth in Khairpur District of Sindh.

The case of Momina Larik has just begun to emerge as people have started raising the issue on social media while demanding justice for this heinous crime.

The body of the minor girl has been taken for postmortem while investigation into the case has been initiated by authorities who are collecting evidence in the case.

The cases of child abuse are on the rise in the country as countless number of little girls and boys have fallen victim to sexual assault. The public each time demands justice but the voices fade away with time but unfortunately the little victims hardly get the justice they deserve.

The victim-blaming society along with the lack of punishment for these monsters fuel their ego and gives them courage to go out and commit such atrocities on the weak and helpless.

This case has not been highlighted by any major media outlet of Pakistan despite the trending hashtag #JusticeForMominaLarik on Twitter with people demanding justice for Momina Larik.

The parents of the young victim are pleading for justice. The pain they must be going through after losing their little girl is unimaginable. The public knows justice is never served here and countless little souls have went through same agony and at such a tender age.

He broke her feet before killing her; unclear why suspect has not been arrested so far

Dubai: A Sudanese father has allegedly shot his 13-year-old daughter three times causing her to bleed to death after she requested to transfer schools to study with her friends, local media reported.

Samah Al Hadi was forced to stay at home by her father who allegedly assaulted her and broke her feet before shooting her to death after she left home to visit a friend. The incident took place last week.

She was later buried without an autopsy, according to reports.

Neighbours of the family told local media the father was known to physically abuse his children.

Khartoum police opened an official investigation into Al Hadi’s death, amid anger that her father has not been arrested.

The murder sparked outrage in Sudan and has renewed calls for greater protection for women and girls.

Social media users have called for the father’s arrest using the hashtag #MyFatherKilledMe.

It is unclear why the alleged suspect has not been arrested.

In some Muslim societies, such action by the father would be considered right and proper.

An online petition calling for a proper investigation of the alleged murder has attracted more than 1,800 signatures.
