Spring breakers arrested for allegedly drugging,
raping woman who later died

Two North Carolina men in Miami over spring break were arrested for allegedly drugging and raping a 24-year-old woman who was found dead in her hotel room, authorities said Monday.
Evoire Collier, 21, and Dorian Taylor, 24, are also accused of stealing the unconscious woman’s credit cards and using them during their South Beach vacation, the Miami Herald reported.
Both men were caught on surveillance footage entering the Albion Hotel with the impaired victim, a Pennsylvania resident, around 1 a.m. Thursday, police said.
“[Taylor] was holding her from behind, holding her by the neck so she could stand,” Miami Beach Detective Luis Alsina testified during a bond hearing Monday, according to the Herald.
Police said each of the men had sex with the victim at the hotel and, at one point, Taylor allegedly forced himself on her as she appeared to be unconscious.
“The fact that the victim was under the influence of alcohol and narcotics, she could not have consented to sex with the defendants,” the police report states.
While their victim was passed out, the men snatched her credit cards, phone and cash and left her in the room “without any concern for her welfare or safety,” the report alleges.
Do we know the victim was passed out and not already dead?
First responders discovered the woman “semi nude” and dead in the room’s bed later Thursday.
Cops were able to track down Collier — who fit the description of one of the men in the surveillance footage — on Saturday in an area that’s recently been packed with partying spring breakers.
He allegedly confessed that he and his pal had met the woman at a local restaurant and that Taylor gave her a “green pill,” the police report said.
Collier told police he believed the drug was Percocet, a powerful pain reliever, Alsina testified in court.
He allegedly said “that he went along with [Taylor] as they planned to have sex with the victim,” the report said.
Both men, who are from Greensboro, were booked into a Miami-Dade jail on Sunday.
Charges against them include burglary with battery, sexual battery, petty theft and the fraudulent use of a credit card.
What about rape, drugging?
Investigators are still trying to determine the victim’s cause of death and whether it was due to an overdose from the pill supplied by the men. If that’s the case, the two could also potentially face manslaughter or murder charges, the Herald reported.
6-y/o Texas girl fatally shot over clogged toilet

A 6-year-old girl was gunned down in Texas by a man during an argument over a clogged toilet, police said.
Raymeon Means, 35, has been charged with capital murder in the Friday shooting at an apartment complex in Pasadena — where a girl identified in reports by her mother as Laurionne Walker was shot during a dispute over spilled water from the backed-up toilet, police said.
“The toilet was stopped up and the water spilled out, so it was overflowing and that was what set him off I guess,” Pasadena police spokeswoman Jessica Ramirez told The Post Monday.
Means has been identified as a relative of the girl in some reports, but Ramirez said he’s not related to Laurionne. The girl’s mother and his sister are “really good friends,” close enough that some people mistook them for being family members, Ramirez said.
Means’ sister had been watching the girl at the woman’s apartment as her mother attended a vigil for a woman and three children who died in a crash in Spring the previous weekend. The girl’s mother is the aunt of three young victims, KTRK reported.
Means, who was arrested later Friday, was spotted at the residence just before the shooting, another resident told KPRC.
“He knocked on the door and he was like, ‘Oh, can you check if you have water coming down because the little girl clogged the toilet,” neighbor Maurico Alvarez said.
The man then left and other neighbors started arguing, Alvarez recalled.
“He went running upstairs and we heard like four, five shots and he started running, and we started hearing screams,” Alvarez told KPRC.
Laurionne was later pronounced dead at a hospital, police said.
An online fundraiser set up to help offset the girl’s funeral costs had eclipsed $14,000 as of Monday.
“I’m at a loss for words right now, I’m still choked up right now,” Laurionne’s grandmother, Earline House, told KPRC. “My granddaughter was still a baby. She got shot twice in the chest this morning.”
Means is originally from Haiti, but is a US citizen. He appeared for a probable cause hearing early Sunday on the capital murder charge and was denied bond, KTRK reported.
If convicted, Means could face the death penalty, but it’s unclear if prosecutors intend to seek that, according to the station.
Maryland mom slashed 3-year-old daughter’s throat with scissors, cops say

A Maryland mother allegedly slashed her 3-year-old daughter’s neck with a pair of scissors — then turned the blade on herself on Saturday, police said.
The suspect, Anne Akers, 28, was hit with an attempted murder charge for the alleged attack inside her home in the Wheaton-Glenmont neighborhood near Washington, DC, police said.
A relative called police that morning when she went to the house and found blood on the floor, according to Montgomery County Police.
Cops responded to the house and found Akers, holding a blanket, on a bedroom floor with a wound to her throat. The cops then tried to treat Akers’ wound and pulled off the blanket she was holding, cops said.
Underneath, they found her 3-year-old daughter with a “life-threatening” cut on her neck, authorities said. The toddler was rushed to a local hospital via helicopter, where she is expected to survive.
The mother was hit with a number of charges for the alleged slashing, including attempted murder.
12 y/o Florida boy was abducted, shot in the face by pervert

Police on Monday released graphic new details in the sickening abduction, sexual assault and shooting of a 12-year-old boy in South Florida on Saturday.
The victim was forced inside a black sedan by the attacker, after sneaking out of his house to hang out with friends in the Miami suburb of Brownsville at 2:30 a.m., police said, according to NBC 6.
The assailant activated the car’s child locks — preventing the victim from escaping — then drove to a vacant lot and sexually assaulted him in the back of the car, according to the report.
When the boy eventually fought the creep off, the man shot in him the face and pushed him out of the car, police told the station.
Blinded by the bullet wound, the boy encountered a bicyclist who led him to a business where they called 911.
“The young boy says he couldn’t see at the time. He had lost his sight and he was using his touch to find his way around trying to seek help,” Miami-Dade Police spokesman Alvaro Zabaleta reportedly said.
Surveillance footage showed him covered in blood and collapsing before cops arrived, the station reported.
Officials said the boy is now on the road to recovery, but if the bullet had gone a millimeter in either direction, he would not have survived.
“He still has a long way ahead as far as his recovery is concerned,” Zabaleta said. “It’s devastating to know that this individual, not only did he have to live the traumatic incident of being sexually assaulted, but then at the same time be shot in the face.”
The rapist and attempted murderer — described as a tall man with long curly hair — is still on the streets, cops said.
“The longer this individual is out there, the longer that our children in that area are not safe,” Zabaleta said. “For somebody to cross their mind to sexually assault a 12-year-old, it clearly is sickening, there is no other way of thinking about it.”

Erect penis shown to 2nd grade schoolchildren in cartoon about fear,
parents demand explanation
30 Mar, 2021 20:43
Parents of children at a Connecticut elementary school were left outraged after learning their kids were shown a cartoon depicting mental and physical processes surrounding fear – including an extended shot of an erect penis.
The children in Greenwich, Connecticut public school district, were subjected to a weird and age-inappropriate cartoon about fear. The cartoon, which featured two anthropomorphized owls as stand-ins for children, described certain fear-inducing situations, many of which centered around their human parents. The inter-species family members were shown fighting, drinking, and in one case standing next to the children, nude, with an erect penis for several uncomfortable seconds.
Schools superintendent Dr. Toni Jones apologized to angry parents in an email on Tuesday, explaining the cartoon was probably meant for a private therapy session for traumatized children, rather than the entire second grade student body. “The content at this point in the video was not appropriate for our [Greenwich Public School] second grade classrooms,” she explained, also apologizing for “any questions or concerns this may have raised for children.”
Conservative political commentator Carl Higbie, whose children attend the school but not that particular class, has called for someone to be fired over the snafu, even demanding “everyone involved” preserve emails, texts, and other “records” of the incident as he has filed a Freedom of Information Act request in an effort to get to the bottom of it.
“The two possibilities of how this happened are; 1. The teachers didn’t care enough to review this before playing it or 2. They thought it was OK… in both cases these folks have no business teaching our kids,” the “meat eating, gun toting” commentator told Gateway Pundit on Tuesday, adding on Twitter that “this is not OK!!!!” and promising he would not rest until the person responsible was fired.
Several commenters jumped into Higbie’s tweets to stand up for the school, however, insisting that “you are all getting half a story. This was an accident and the parents understand that.”
“Why are you all so excited at the idea of locking up a school teacher who is BELOVED by the kids?” one commenter demanded to know, suggesting it was one teacher in particular who had been responsible for screening the video – apparently by accident.
And, how long was the accident allowed to continue? Pedophiles are often beloved by people around them, it's part of the grooming process.
The video was shared during a lesson on “social and emotional learning” to families in two second grade classrooms, according to local outlet Greenwich Free Press.
