Naples man sentenced to 15 years in prison for possessing child sexual abuse material

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. —

A Naples man was sentenced to 15 years in prison after he was arrested for possessing child sexual abuse material in 2024.

According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office Friday, Justin Donald Dougall, 39, recently pled no contest to 71 charges related to the possession and transmission of child sexual abuse material and a count of possession of bestiality material.

Dougall was adjudicated guilty and sentenced to prison, which will be followed by five years of probation, deputies said. He was also designated as a sex offender.

The sheriff's office arrested Dougall on June 18, 2024, after it said an investigation found he possessed child sexual abuse material.

The arrest happened at a home on the corner of 99th Avenue and 7th Street North, near US-41.

The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force assisted detectives with the Southwest Florida INTERCEPT Task Force during the investigation.

132 additional charges filed against Gainesville man in child sex abuse case

Richard A. Garcia-Hernandez (Hall County Sheriff's Office)

GAINESVILLE, Ga.Hall County investigators have filed 132 additional felony charges against a Gainesville man already jailed on allegations that he sexually abused a girl younger than 10.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit obtained the new warrants Thursday, Aug. 27, against 45-year-old Richard A. Garcia-Hernandez.

Garcia-Hernandez now faces seven counts of producing child sexual abuse material and 125 counts of possessing it. The charges resulted from the forensic examination of electronic devices seized from his Waldrip Drive home during a search on July 2, according to the sheriff’s office.

Investigators allege Garcia-Hernandez produced five videos and two images depicting him sexually abusing two girls. One is the same child connected to his July arrest. Investigators believe the second child is not from the area. The remaining possession charges involve the seven files Garcia-Hernandez allegedly produced and 118 additional files that authorities said did not involve him or local victims.

Deputies arrested Garcia-Hernandez at his home July 2 after a girl disclosed alleged abuse to a family member on June 22. Investigators said the abuse occurred between May 2025 and late January 2026 at Garcia-Hernandez’s residence. He was initially charged with aggravated sodomy, sexual battery, grooming a child for indecent purposes and electronically furnishing obscene material to a minor. All are felonies.

According to investigators, Garcia-Hernandez showed the child pornographic videos on his phone and used access to the game Roblox as leverage to gain her compliance. Authorities said he knew the child before the alleged abuse began.

Garcia-Hernandez remains in the Hall County Jail without bond and is also being held on an immigration detainer. The investigation remains ongoing.
