SPRING MILLS, CENTRE COUNTY, Pennsylvania - 39 year-old Edward Geier, Jr., from Spring Mills, is behind bars Tuesday. He's facing more than 1,000 counts of child sex abuse.
Geier is accused of sexually assaulting a girl over a four year period.
According to court documents, it wasn't until the victim decided to run away from the home where the abuse allegedly happened that it was discovered.
Police said Geier touched the girl inappropriately and forced her to perform oral sex on him and he would do the same with her. He also allegedly forced her to have sex with him on multiple occasions.
According to court documents, the abuse happened at least once per week for four years.
Geier is already listed as a Megan's Law offender. According to the Megan's Law website, he was registered in 2005 for indecent assault.
He is in Centre County Jail on $150,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for March 4.
