Paul Alexander, 57, was arrested on Thursday for allegedly sex trafficking children throughout New York City, the New York Attorney General's Office announced following a months-long investigation.

Alexander, who lists himself as CEO of a private aircraft charter company Central Jet Charter, is already a registered sex offender.

In the investigation dubbed 'Operation Mile High' Alexander allegedly charged an undercover cop $300 for sex with a 12-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl. He allegedly told the undercover officer to give the kids alcohol and marijuana to make the victims more cooperative.

The probe involved undercover agents, covert recording devices and social media.

Dan Santiago, 26, a neighbor of Alexander’s apartment in Fordham Heights, said he saw groups of young girls coming in and out of his home.

'I would always see him with little girls up there,' Santiago said to the New York Post.

'It was never one person coming out of the apartment, it was always like a group. I found that suspicious. He was doing something up there for sure,' he added.

Another neighbor who lives below Alexander said his apartment was always noisy and she suspected he was messing around with underage girls and once warned him to stay away from her daughters.

'He has never messed with me or with my daughters. He would make so much noise. I took a bat and went upstairs and told him, "Come here, if you ever touch one of my daughters … I will kill you right here in this building,"' the woman said in Spanish.

He allegedly replied to her, 'No, no. It wasn’t like that.'

'They need to take him away from here…Children live here and I have to take care of my daughters,' the woman said.

'He would bring a lot of little girls here — Black, Hispanic, Chinese — he brings women of all types and walks of life, and a lot of girls,' the woman added to the New York Daily News.

A woman who answered the door of Alexander’s apartment claiming to be his roommate said she didn’t see anything suspicious because she was never home.

Other neighbors said he would hang around a school in Fordham Heights looking for young kids.

'He stays by the McDonald’s, [on Fordham Road] where he finds them. That’s where he would pick up those kids,' a neighbor who lived on the first floor of his apartment said.

'There is a high school around there, he would go there and be waiting on them,' the neighbor added.

Neighbors said they’d see young girls in skimpy clothing who they believed were under the age of 18.

'They had on little sports bras, little shorts. I’m so glad he’s gone. He has like a creepy vibe, like he’s a villain,' one female neighbor said.

Alexander's apartment door is covered with stickers depicting princesses and phrases like 'Kiss me' and 'All you need is love' as well as religious Bible verses saying, 'With god everything is possible.'

The probe was first launched in March after he was reported to the NYPD by a female minor, according to a statement from the AG's office. The girl alleged that Alexander sexually abused her and other underage girls, and promoted them for prostitution to other men.

Alexander was arraigned in Bronx County Criminal Court on Saturday and charged with sex trafficking of a child, attempted sex trafficking of a child, related counts of first and second degrees of promoting prostitution, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

He faces up to 50 years in prison if convicted on the top charges.

Utah man in ‘position of trust’ who sexually abused multiple young girls
over decades, headed to prison

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 News)A man who pleaded guilty in October to sexually abusing young girls over two decades, is headed to prison.

Jeffrey Paul Olson, 54, was sentenced on Tuesday by Judge Richard McKelvie to a minimum of four years and up to life at the Utah State Prison.

Olson originally was charged with 10 first-degree felonies, six counts of sex abuse of a child, two counts of rape, and two counts of sodomy but in a deal with prosecutors, he pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree felony attempted sex abuse of a child and one first-degree felony count of rape.

Documents state Olson told law enforcement that he had sexually abused multiple young girls over several years and that he had also sexually assaulted two adult women over a period of several years.

And he could be out in less than 4.5 years. That's insane!

During the course of the investigation, police determined Olson had in fact committed the crimes he told them about. Police said the man held a position of special trust with the victims but did not indicate what that position was.

Documents state the abuse started in 1995 and his abuse included six different children that ranged in age from 1-13 years old. The abuse happened frequently and in multiple different locations.

Olson raped and sodomized “an adult woman over 14 years of age” off and on until 2017. Olson admitted he would give the victim alcohol and medication so he “could do whatever he wanted to do to her sexually”. The victim was not able to consent as she was passed out from the alcohol and/or medication given to her, documents state.

The decision on how many years Olson will do before given a chance at parole is up to the Utah Board of Pardons. He will not be eligible for a hearing for at least four years.

It should be 40 years. The DA who agreed to this should be fired!

(*note* ABC4 is aware a 14-17-year-old is still considered a minor, however, we used the terminology in the court system for this specific case and the specific charge in which he was guilty of)

Jennifer Gardiner - stand up for these kids. It appears the DA and the judge won't.

A 63-year-old Pennsylvania man was busted with more than 7,000 child porn images -- most of which depicted toddlers and babies being sexually abused, authorities said Tuesday.

The Montgomery County Detective Bureau received 25 cybertips from Google routed through the Delaware County ICAC Task Force concerning an account that contained more than 500 images of child sexual assault imagery depicting children in sexual acts and in sexual poses, District Attorney Kevin R. Steele said.

The cybertip provided detectives with the user account information, including the computer IP address linked to a Comcast account for Edward Elvin Jr.'s Audubon home, Steele said.

A search warrant was executed Oct. 28 on the home, and Elvin's Dragon Touch tablet was seized.

A forensic analysis of the tablet found that it contained 7,366 image files depicting children under the age of 18, engaged in sexual acts and in sexual poses.

More than 100 of these images were of children under the age of 13, and most were of babies and toddlers being sexually abused.

Elvin was charged with more than 100 felony counts of possessing child pornography and criminal use of a communications facility, Steele said.

He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Cathleen Kelly Rebar, who set bail at $25,000 unsecured, with additional conditions of no personal use of the internet and no contact with minors.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11 a.m., Jan. 5, 2021 before Judge Rebar.

Major Crimes Detectives of the Montgomery County Detective Bureau, along with specially trained and sworn detectives from police departments in Montgomery County, routinely work with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force to protect children from Internet predators by aggressively and proactively investigating Internet crimes that exploit children.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Erika Wevodau, who is assigned to the Family Protection Unit.

Former Evergreen Public Schools, Wa,  paraeducator faces
child sex abuse imagery charges

A 61-year-old Camas man who worked as a paraeducator at Evergreen Public Schools stands accused of possessing child sexual abuse imagery.

Richard L. Blakesley appeared Friday in Clark County Superior Court to face four counts of first-degree possession of depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. His bail was set at $20,000.

Court records from the hearing show Blakesley intends to hire a defense attorney. A bail review hearing is scheduled for today.

The school district’s spokeswoman, Gail Spolar, said Blakesley was employed as a special education paraeducator, an assistant who worked with special education students, from October 2019 to mid-June 2020. The district’s schools have been operating through remote learning since March, she said, so Blakesley would not have had direct contact with students for several months.

Blakesley would have been working with children in the months prior, however. Spolar did not have information about what schools Blakesley worked in during that time. Blakesley is currently not working for the district, according to the spokeswoman.

A Vancouver Police Department Digital Evidence Cybercrime Unit detective was assigned Dec. 1 to follow up on three cyber tips possibly related to Blakesley, according to a probable cause affidavit. Google submitted all three tips, which had to do with child sexual abuse imagery.

Blakesley was found to be associated with two email accounts that uploaded 30 files of suspected child sexual abuse imagery to the internet through Google, according to the affidavit. His phone number was also tied to one of the email accounts, court records say.

The investigator wrote in the affidavit that he found a LinkedIn profile indicating Blakesley may work for Evergreen Public Schools.

Law enforcement also found Blakesley’s and his family’s Facebook pages, and after seeing images of him with children, specifically his grandchildren, an emergency information request was sent to Google “due to potential imminent danger of a child,” the affidavit says. Authorities have not alleged Blakesley sexually abused children himself.

A Camas Police Department officer called Blakesley on Thursday and arranged for him to come to the police department. Blakesley arrived that same day and was placed under arrest, according to the affidavit.

Blakesley confirmed that the two email addresses associated with the imagery were his, and he “knew what this was about,” the affidavit says. He told investigators someone emailed him the child sex abuse images, but he never shared them, according to the affidavit.

Following the interview, officers seized Blakesley’s cellphone. Forensic analysis of the device is pending, but child sex abuse imagery was found when officers searched through it, according to the affidavit. Some of the images on the phone were reportedly the same ones provided through the cyber tips.
