A twisted mum who was jailed for 155 years for sexually abusing a young girl in a bath tub has had 20 years added to her sentence.
Elizabeth Haway, from Princeton, West Virginia, US, was locked up in May for the "vile and horrific" abuse on the child which was discovered by police following a tip-off.
Now Halway has been given an additional 20 year sentence for sending pictures of herself abusing the girl to a Facebook friend in February 2019, the Sun reports.
Prosecutor Mike Stuart told the Bluefield Daily Telegraph: "Twenty years in prison for an abhorrent crime that inflicted lifelong trauma on a young child.
"We will do everything within our power to keep offenders like Haway away from West Virginia’s children. After Haway completes the state prison sentence she is currently serving, she then will spend the next two decades in federal prison."
Sentencing the 43-year-old at Mercer County Circuit Court earlier this year, Judge William Sadler said that "lifelong damage has been inflicted on this child," the Bluefield Daily Telegraph reports.
He said: "This child has lost innocence that can never be restored on replaced. I've been involved in the criminal justice system for over 30 years. From that standpoint, this is one of the most vile and horrific cases I have ever experienced in the criminal justice system."
Haway had previously admitted first-degree sexual assault, first-degree sexual abuse, and sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or person of trust, and incest, at a hearing in December last year.
She will be 88 years old before she's eligible for parole in WVi. I believe, federal sentences have no parole, so, say goodnight Elizabeth; you're done!
The court heard an investigation was launched by Detective-Sergeant Steve Sommers at Mercer County Sheriff’s Office after he received a cyber tip that child abuse images had been distributed through Facebook messenger.

Clearfield Co., Pa man faces charges in sex assault of 5 y/o

Clearfield, PA — 22-year-old James McClelland faces multiple charges after authorities say he sexually assaulted a five year old girl in Boggs Township.
According to court documents, the five-year-old victim and her family were staying at a home in Boggs Township, Clearfield County. Authorities said James McClelland was staying with the victim and her family from February to March of this year.
During this time authorities said when he was babysitting the victim, he sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions.
Arrrrgh! Never let men babysit your child!
"In Clearfield County we have been seeing a lot more of these child sexual assault cases and that is as we were talking beforehand probably the worst crimes that we are seeing," said Ryan Sayers, Clearfield County District Attorney.
It is unknown at this time the relationship between McClelland and the victim. McClelland faces multiple charges including counts of Involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and indecent assault.
"With a homicide case the person is deceased and that's terrible within itself especially for the family but these kinds of cases, these children that are sexually abused they have to live with it the rest of their lives," said Sayers.
And for the majority, it messes up their lives incredibly. Counselling can mitigate the damage, but not enough victims get counselling.
McClellan's preliminary hearing is set for January 20.
Sexual abuse against children charges continue to stack up
against Great Falls, Mt area man

Kevin Lee McGillis, is facing additional felony rape charges where the victim was under 16 years old.
These are the latest charges against McGillis, 59, who was accused of two counts of felony sexual abuse against children under 12 years old in charges filed on Dec. 24. He is also facing similar charges that were filed in August of this year.
A male victim told detectives that between age 7 and 13, McGillis allegedly engaged in "numerous acts of oral and anal sex" with the victim. The incidents occurred when McGillis was babysitting the victim, according to charging documents.
AAAAAAAAAAArgh! There we go again! Parents, don't let men babysit your children, PLEASE!
McGillis allegedly provided money and other offerings to the victim to keep him from disclosing the sex acts to others. The victim told detectives that as he got older he continued to have sex with McGillis and that it was "his own choice," according to charging documents. However, he was under 16 years old at that time, the age of consent in Montana.
McGillis allegedly paid the victim to engage in sex with him. All incidents occurred at McGillis' home in Black Eagle.
In August, a young girl reported that McGillis had allegedly touched her "private parts," and described that the inappropriate touching happened multiple times in two locations of McGillis' home when she had previously spent the night. The victim was under 12 years old when the alleged incidents occurred.
He posted bond on that case, which had been set at $100,000.
During a forensic interview in December, another child disclosed that they had allegedly been touched inappropriately by McGillis in a similar manner.
Prosecutors requested a $500,000 bond for the charges filed Dec. 24. They are requesting that his bond be set at $250,000 and to be concurrent to his previously imposed bond.
Charging documents from Dec. 24 say that McGillis was previously charged with four total counts of sexual assault, all felonies, but the matter was dismissed based on the recantation by the victim due to "family dynamics and lack of support for (them)."
Good grief! The last thing a victim needs is a complete lack of support from their family.
The Dec. 24 charging documents say that law enforcement is investigating and believe that more victims may be involved that may result in additional charges involving sexual crimes against children.

A Marshall County man who called to report an unattended death has been arrested on multiple child sex abuse charges.
Christopher Pruitt, 30, of Boaz, is being held in the Marshall County Jail on $100,000 bond. He has been charged with sexual abuse of a child under 12 and first degree sexual abuse.
Marshall County Assistant Chief Deputy Steve Guthrie said Pruitt called to report an unattended death in the county.
When deputies investigated the report, they found that Pruitt was already facing warrants from a case that had been investigated by the department, working with the Department of Human Resources.
The death Pruitt called to report was from natural causes, Guthrie said. He was arrested Monday.

ARDMORE, Okla. (KXII) - Since April, the Carter County Sheriff’s Office has arrested eight men on charges related to child sexual abuse - including both acts of abuse and possession of child pornography.
Sheriff Chris Bryant said that’s twice as many offenders usually caught in a year.
Bryant said he’s not sure why there’s been a rise in cases, but he’s proud of his department for catching them. “We will find them and we will arrest them and hold them to the fullest extent of the law,” Bryant said. “These are some sick individuals and obviously they need help.”
46-year-old Jeffrey Scott McLean bailed out of jail and is now on the run.
McLean was arrested in April after he pawned iPads at a local pawnshop. The iPads contained over a hundred images of child sexual abuse on each device.
Dale Kroth was arrested in June after a family member accused him of lewd acts with a child.
Bryant said Kroth confessed to the acts.
“Kroth had made a statement, a comment basically saying he kept it in the family so they nobody would tell,” Bryant said.
Daniel Ulmet was arrested in August for kidnapping a child from Marshall County and possessing child pornography in Carter and Cleveland counties.
Bryant said Ulmet also has a child victim in Ohio.
Michael Alford was arrested in November for having an inappropriate relationship with a 12 year old girl. Later child porn was found on his computer.
Kyle Savala was arrested two weeks ago after a video of a child being sexually abused while someone else watched was found on his Dropbox account.
Around the same time, Joseph Hamer was arrested for lewd acts with a minor and possession of child porn after several cyber tips were sent from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
“It’s an IP address hit,” Bryant said. “That’s mainly what happens when they download child porn off of a website.” Bryant said the Coal County Sheriff’s Office is working that case too.
Marcus Hain was arrested last week for rape after meeting up at night with a 14 year old girl.
Tuesday, Brandon Sullivan was arrested for rape and child stealing after having a relationship with a 14 year old girl. Deputies found the girl at Sullivan’s home.
Bryant said the takeaway from the large volume of cases this year is that parents need to be aware of what’s on their kid’s phone.
“Check them,” Bryant said. “Go through them. Be vigilant about going through their phones and seeing who they’re snapchatting. Look for hidden Snapchat accounts or anything like that.”
Bryant said if you see something or have any information about the missing man, Jeffrey McLean, or about any other sexual predator, tell local law enforcement.
You can reach the Carter County Sheriff’s office at (580) 223-6014. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- A judge sentenced a man in Colorado Springs to more than six centuries in prison for preying on children for years last week. Joseph Davis, 69, was arrested in December of 2018.
He was convicted of 15 counts of sex crimes against children in July.
CBS affiliate, KKTV in Colorado Springs, reports detectives found evidence of sexual abuse on children and child pornography going back at least 35 years.
Davis also lived near a school, community center and park, police say.
“This dangerous pedophile tormented and destroyed the lives of his victims and the community while operating in the shadows to avoid the notice of law enforcement. Through the bravery of his numerous young victims, the defendant was captured, tried, and will now serve the rest of his life in prison,” the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office said in a statement on Sunday.
