MOSES Farrow, the adopted son of Woody Allen and Mia Farrow, has claimed that his estranged mother was emotionally and physically abusive towards her children.
He also repeated his earlier claims that Farrow “coached” his sister Dylan to accuse their filmmaker father of sexual abuse.

Moses Farrow, who has supported Allen over a long history of sexual abuse allegations, made the claims against Farrow in an interview for a new book Start to Finish: Woody Allen and the Art of Moviemaking, according to an excerpt of the book obtained by the New York Times.
The book is written by author Eric Lax, a longtime friend of Allen’s.
So, that should really be unbiased!

In an excerpt from Lax’s book, the New York Times reported that Moses details a number of instances in which Farrow was allegedly emotionally and physically abusive towards her children.
“Now that I no longer live in fear of her rejection, I am free to share how she cultivated and brainwashed me,” Moses reportedly said.
In a statement, Farrow, 72, said: “Moses has cut off his entire family including his ex-wife who was pregnant when he left.
“It’s heartbreaking and bewildering that he would make this up, perhaps to please Woody. We all miss and love him very much.”

Allen and Farrow had a 12-year relationship that ended after he had an affair with Farrow’s adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previn, who is 35 years younger than him. In 1997 Allen, now 81, and Previn, now 46, were married.
In 2014, Dylan — who is one of the star’s three children with Farrow — claimed that Allen molested her as a child.
“When I was seven years old, Woody Allen took me by the hand and led me into a dim, closet-like attic on the second floor of our house,” Dylan, now 32, said.
“He told me to lay on my stomach and play with my brother’s electric train set. Then he sexually assaulted me. He talked to me while he did it, whispering that I was a good girl, that this was our secret, promising that we’d go to Paris and I’d be a star in his movies.”
Allen denied the alleged assault and has not been prosecuted for it.
New law affecting statute of limitations in Maryland
comes into effect
The measure includes a law that increases by 13 years the amount of time that a person who alleges child sexual abuse has to file a lawsuit, lifting the age cap from 25 to age 38.
The legislation that extends the statute of limitations for legal action by those alleging child sexual abuse is not retroactive and applies only to victims who were 18 or younger at the time the bill became law.
Del. C.T. Wilson, D-Charles, who testified before fellow lawmakers for years that he was raped decades ago by his adoptive father, had long worked to get the legislation passed.
It's a good start, but that's all it is!
Rushville church at center of
child sexual abuse allegations

RUSHVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Neighbors are responding after learning about allegations of child sexual abuse at a church in Rushville.
Police executed a search warrant last week at Rushville Baptist Temple Church at 1335 North Spencer Street as part of their investigation.

Police said they are looking into allegations of child molestation and began looking into the church several weeks ago after a woman told them her young daughter was a victim.
During the course of their investigation, police said another woman came forward and said the same thing happened to her as a young girl nearly 30 years ago.
The allegations are disturbing to hear for longtime residents who live in a Rushville neighborhood near North Spencer Street and West 16th Street.
“It’s sad. It’s very sad,” said one neighbor, who didn’t want to be identified on camera. “As a grandparent, it worries me.” The neighbor described Rushville as a small town where everybody knows everybody.
“It’s mind-blowing to think that you should be able to send your children to church, and they should be safe,” she said.
As of Friday evening, no one had been arrested or charged in connection to the allegations.
“It’s scary, I mean it just gets more scary every day hearing these types of stories,” said Nichole Wooldridge, a neighbor. Wooldridge lives down the street from the church and moved into the neighborhood about five years ago.
“I mean that’s just got to be devastating to anybody, you know, whether you’re related to the victim, you’re the victim, whatever. It is that’s just devastating,” she said.
The Rushville Police Department and the Rush County Prosecutor’s Office are urging anyone with information about this case to come forward and give them a call at 765-932-3907.
“I’m hoping they find answers pretty quickly and get to the bottom of this,” she said.

Another Father and Son team of
child sex abusers arrested
PICKENS COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – A father and son remain in jail, accused of sexually molesting three children.
When Rickie Galloway, 63, gave his son Jason Galloway, 34, a ride to the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office for his sex offender registration appointment, deputies arrested them both.
Investigators say from January 2016 to August 2017 both men engaged in sexual acts with three different children, and the victims are all less than 11 years old.
The sheriff’s office says the incidents happened at private homes, and the two men were known by the victims.
“Most of the time with children, child sexual abuse is with either a caregiver, someone that is an authority,” said Pickens County Advocacy Center Executive Director Shannon Lambert. “It is very disheartening and saddening that children have to be afflicted by this type of sexual abuse.”
She said the victim advocates from the PCAC responded to the initial call to provide crisis intervention for this case.
“We look to see what ways we can help parents and also the children heal from the trauma,” said Lambert. The Julie Valentine Center is also involved in this case as warrants say the victims disclosed the details to counselors.
She said parents should choose to have the tough conversations with their children about the issue. She said of the 80 victims helped by the organization in 2016, about half were minors.
“Even though it’s a very uncomfortable topic, it’s a topic that needs to be discussed in the home and it needs to be done between parents and children,” said Lambert. “We do a lot of education in the schools and that is great, but we also tell them its okay to talk to your parents if something is bothering you.”
Lambert said with a safe and supportive environment, children can learn to heal after the abuse.
“Children are very resilient and that is one of the fortunate things when a traumatic event,” she said. “There will be potential long term effects whether it’s trust issues, relationship issues, and even if there’s certain things that could trigger the abuse to come back to them.”
Jason Galloway has been charged with three counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor 1st Degree.
Rickie Galloway has been charged with one count of Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor 1st Degree.

Plea Deal means no jail time for man
who sodomized 15 y/o girl
NEVADA, Mo. — A Richards man received a suspended sentence recently when he pleaded guilty to an amended charge in a child sexual abuse case.
Robert L. Barnes, 53, pleaded guilty in Vernon County Circuit Court to a charge of first-degree child endangerment in a plea agreement with the prosecutor's office. Barnes had been facing a count of second-degree statutory sodomy for alleged sexual abuse of a 15-year-old girl.
Circuit Judge David Munton assessed Barnes six years for the conviction, but suspended execution of the sentence and placed the defendant on supervised probation for five years.
A probable-cause affidavit filed with the charge in September 2015 alleged that Barnes committed various sexual acts with the girl on more than one occasion.
And he walks away with a smile on his face; but not the girl!
Jury convicts Oregon man on 38 charges
of sexually assaulting child
Gazette-Times
A Benton County Circuit Court jury on Friday found a Philomath man guilty of 38 counts of sexually abusing a child.
The jury concluded Raymond Merl Turner was guilty of 12 counts of first-degree rape, 12 counts of first-degree sodomy, 12 counts of first-degree sexual abuse and two counts of second-degree rape. Juror began their deliberations Thursday morning.
Ryan Joslin, the chief deputy district attorney for Benton County, said a sentencing hearing for Turner has not yet been set.
The charges stem from abuse of a minor female born in 2003 and reportedly took place from 2009 to 2016. Turner has nine additional felony charges still pending in a case of alleged abuse of a female minor born in 2001; those incidents allegedly took place between 2005 and 2007.
Turner was arrested in March and remains in the Benton County Jail.
OSU student pleads guilty to
child pornography charges
ANTHONY RIMEL Corvallis Gazette-Times
An Oregon State University student pleaded guilty to three felony charges of encouraging child sexual abuse in the first degree on Friday in Benton County Circuit Friday.
Pin-Han Tsai admitted in court that in January he possessed and intended to distribute images of a minor engaged in sexual activity despite being aware the creation of those images was child abuse.
Tsai was sentenced to a total of 90 days in jail and 36 months of probation, with a requirement that he complete treatment as a sex offender.
Ryan Joslin, the chief deputy district attorney, said the sentence was based on Tsai not having a prior criminal record and a psycho-sexual evaluation that concluded Tsai was unlikely to physically victimize anyone.
David Corden, Tsai’s lawyer, said the conviction may trigger U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to deport Tsai to Taiwan. Unless he is deported, Tsai’s sentencing does not allow him to leave the United States until he completes his sex offender treatment.
Tsai, who is still listed as a student in OSU’s directory, was also ordered to pay $5,000 to the minor who was victimized in the videos. Tsai was a senior in physics when he was arrested in March.
Tsai, 23, now lives in Beaverton with family, Corden said.
