New Netflix series for teens
‘glorifies children’s sexual escapades’
SCOTTS VALLEY, California, September 26, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) — The latest Netflix cartoon is animated child porn, according to critics.
Netflix launches a new series, "Big Mouth," on September 29 and its promotional trailer has led to accusations of sexualizing children and promoting child pornography.
The animated show focuses on preadolescent and pubescent children and their discovery of the sexual world around them.
"Big Mouth" features graphic masturbation, pornography, and more. The content is too graphic and offensive to describe in a family publication.
Fantasy food for pedophiles
Pro-children and pro-family advocates say the show sexualizes children and is fantasy food for pedophiles.
One online commenter, Swaggy Thunder (ST), criticized Netflix, saying, "That's child pornography. I don't know why some people are defending this."
ST summarized "Big Mouth" as "a whole series that glorifies children's sexual escapades … literally show(ing) child nudity." He then addressed Netflix's "flat-out showing children's private areas on screen:" "Do you have to bring a show that's just normalizing pedophilia?"
Anthony Khoury of the Vigilant Community accused Netflix of having an intentional agenda to sexualize children. "Slowly but surely, new content keeps pushing the envelope, slightly going too far, chipping away at moral decency to make the sexuality of children fair game.”
Khoury then speculated as to why Netflix wants to sexualize children. “Why? Because Hollywood and the world elite are full of child (molesters) and they want to normalize their derangement."
Jay Greenberg of Neon Nettle accused Netflix of promoting pedophilia. "A new Netflix cartoon appears to be promoting that agenda with disturbing undertones that sexualize relationships between adults and children," he wrote. He quoted one commenter who posted, “It’s like a cartoon of pedophilia."
“That’s it. You know what? I am actually going back to church Sunday,” one exasperated woman commented online. “I can’t…live like this anymore. How is this acceptable? Jesus take the wheel.”
“I don’t get it,” wrote another poster. “The profanity and crudeness makes it unsuitable for a younger audience, and the fact (that) it’s about literal kids going through puberty makes it unsuitable for an older audience. This is just weird.”
Liberals like it
Liberals, on the other hand, are praising the series. The Huffington Post's Mat Whitehead called it "bloody hysterical," among other superlatives. Den of Geek's Daniel Kurland devoted an entire blogpost to lauding the show, writing, "It’s fun and harmless."
But Kurland then added, "And if you were a child watching this (show), it might actually open your eyes in some exciting ways."
Greenberg took a step back to put the show in perspective. "For decades, Hollywood has been pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable by constantly challenging cultural taboos for the sake of 'shock value,'" he noted. "As shows compete to become more shocking, they eventually cross the line of what is acceptable and just end up normalizing the absolute worst of humanity."
The Neon Nettle journalist cited Russian President Vladimir Putin, who criticized Western leaders for destroying civilization by creating a culture of "excessive, exaggerated political correctness." Greenberg concluded, "Could this be an example of darker forces at work, attempting (to co-opt) society's mindset when it comes to child abuse?"
The series features star voices John Mulaney, Jordan Peele, Nick Kroll, Maya Rudolph, Jenny Slate, Jessi Klein, Jason Mantzoukas, Fred Armisen, and Kristen Wiig.
The entire 10-show series will be released Friday on Netflix.
This needs to be stopped! This is the kind of trash you might find on the Dark Net, but should never be seen on TV screens, ever. Nor should they be available for your children to watch on their smart phones. Perhaps it's necessary to boycott Netflix.
Nothing good can come from this. It is simply normalizing perversion.
